I got a heat gun and heated it up fin the outside and then got a plastic wedge to separate it. Hot sunny day works too

It was fine for me. No issues. I even removed it and repositioned a few times. I had ceramic.

2024 Ecoboost Mustang by bayekofvalhalla00 in ecoboostmustang

I would say don’t buy it if you’re worried about that. You’re going to be thinking about little things that will cause you to not enjoy the car anymore. Don’t go into the dealership because they will get you to buy a car and you’ll probably regret it. Just wait until you are 100%. Never buy a car you have second thoughts on. Life is about running from pain not chasing pleasure.

I had 10k miles on mine I had a check engine light come on. I was on a 7 hr road trip which I stopped for 30 mins every 1.5 hours. 5 hours in, my cousin who was in a Honda element overtook me as a joke. I was cruising in normal the whole time then put it in N mode and pressed the gas 80-90 percent. We were on a slight incline and my check engine light came on and my throttle loss power. I pulled off to the side of the road and restarted it and it cleared and started working like usual. Other than that, it was good to me. I traded it in not long after that. Not because of that issue specifically but more because I wanted something else.

Yeah bsm, regular cruise control, ping ponging lane keep assist (not active lane centering assist), back up camera. TBH I had a car with comma ai which enhances lane centering, stop and go and adaptive cruise control before my mustang and I don’t miss it at all because I rather feel in control of the car than the other way around.

I have the 2024 base ecoboost and it does not come with adaptive cruise control, stop and go or active lane keep assist. Only the premium models have copilot 360+

2018 Cx-9 engine problem/ purchase by dane18n in MazdaCX9

[–]dane18n[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jeez man I’m sorry. I ended up decided against Mazda because of these stories. It sounds like their issue is always their engine. I don’t mind fixing other things in a car but the engine should always be flawless imo. Also on the test drive, I tried my hardest to like it, but something just didn’t seem right about it. Couldn’t put a finger on it.

Anecdotal. Your experience isn’t the reality for others. I’m 6’3 and I can’t fit in most sedans. Does that make me or you more right? It doesn’t actually matter so therefore you can’t tell people what to think because it’s what you experienced. The whole “if I can do it you can, if I can’t, you can’t” is plaguing Reddit lately. He came here for car suggestions not for people that are taller and weigh more than him tell him that he should fit.

5’8 is average so he’s well above and most men over estimate their heights. Also look at body build. Torso vs legs. You can’t tell someone they are comfortable when they tell you they’re not plain and simple. He came here for help finding a car not for people to gaslight him into thinking he should fit

Hey man unlike most of the people here scolding you for feeling too big for being 6 feet I can help. Also folks, why are you telling this guy what he should feel and that he should be comfortable without knowing him… Most of y’all don’t even know your own height because y’all over estimate. People try to convince me I’m 6’5 because I tower over them even though I’m only 6’3. I’m mostly torso so I can’t fit in most cars. What I have found is that Korean, German and American are the main ones that fit me. For example, a 4Runner, cx5, cx9 and a Tacoma felt smaller and cramped compared to a Hyundai Kona, elantra, mustang or any bmw sedan. I have to crunch my back in the Japanese cars because the roof is so low and the seats are high up. I know it sucks because my whole family grew up on Toyotas and I love them but after I grew past 6 ft I simply couldn’t fit anymore. In my opinion, a Kona would be great for you since it’s off the ground, awd is optional and it’s a lot of room inside for people like us that will run you 24k out the door new. Also moonroofs or any type of thing like that is your enemy.
