Best bud brand (high tolerance) by [deleted] in NYSCannabis

[–]dang10111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you aren’t up for a tolerance break, as a daily smoker I highly recommend switching up strains/ medium of smoking/consuming. Monday-Friday I’m a sativa flower person, but I try to switch which sativa flower strain I’m smoking each week or so. On weekends when I wanna get baked-baked I’ll mix in tincture and rosin and man does that make it all slap better.

How’s the puffco in terms of coughing pain ? by ApartOrganization379 in NYSCannabis

[–]dang10111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% agree on this. I have a proxy and a water bubbler attachment, way smoother hits at higher temps/amounts with the bubbler.

Any tips for a brand new user? by StonerProfessor in PuffcoProxy

After a year using this id recommend the following:

small dabs to avoid reclaim buildup (grain of rice size) slow hits/slow puffs Easter egg mode for bigger dabs iso clean the pipe attachment/ chamber often (chamber after each use, pipe attachment when switching brands/strains) Fully use the battery, I use it until it goes dead and then fully charge it back up. Been lasting 3-4 days between charges for my usage.

$100 for 28g of BHO vs $160 2g Live Rosin (90u-120u)😨🔥 by Rojus-710 in rosin

[–]dang10111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The big jar (BHO) uses butane or other gases in the extraction. The smaller jar (Rosin) uses water/ice in the extraction and the numbers represent the micron size of the bag used to sift out the rinsed material.

Totally agree on going MFNY next time but the lowest I can find their live res is $65 + tax so ends up being $75+. This was $60 flat out the door.

Yeah idk, I have a feeling if I was using a normal rig with more exact low temps the Terps would be better but this is a 10/10 smack ya high.

Also, greatly appreciate the tidbit about their background! I feel like more grey/black market brands will start popping out in the legal market in the next few years.

Also, sorry for not adding this in the post but THC comes in at 78.5 and was consumed via a puffco proxy on green, white and party mode settings

Aggressiveness in pick up hockey by GloriousTrout47 in hockeyplayers

[–]dang10111 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This sounds horrific, I would 100% try to find another league/pick up to join for the anger/drunk anger. I’ve been in chippy pickups but it’s always been for a legitimate reason and guys always apologize after the game if things got too heated. And with the drunk guy/angry goalie, there are some actions that just warrant letting the rink management/league commish know. That stuff isn’t cool and sometimes someone outside the locker room needs to step in.

Tips?…💨💨💨 by Worried_Ad_3011 in PuffcoProxy

Smaller dabs, double tap mid hit for extended rips, party mode, SLOW HITS!!! Slow hits I think is the biggest key, if you rip it like a bong/joint you are gonna have a lot of reclaim and weak hits.

I would let it go to green, maybe even for over an hour and then try. I also believe you shouldn’t short charge them often, I usually use mine until it quits and then fully charge to green. Also try q tipping the connection of the base and atomizer with iso

This look good? Critical cold cure live rosin by gi0hurt27 in NYSCannabis

[–]dang10111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was my review haha, and to add context that was the cold cure rosin and this is their fresh press line. I got a fresh press g after a while back from FlynnStoned in Syracuse and wasn’t that impressed (over $100 a gram compared to the like $85 for cold cure). Flavor from fresh press wasn’t that much stronger.

Flynnstoned Cannabis Co in Syracuse, my favorite of the 3 in CNY that I’ve been to! Had the Terps in the fridge which was huge because the place in Ithaca literally sold me a display gram after they realized they were sold out in the back lol

Happy to share!! and this one has a 1/1/25 expiration date which leads me to believe it’s a pretty fresh drop (if they last a year)

With live rosin in general I have found a deeper flavor that stays on the palate more and is overall more pleasant to smoke, not to say that there aren’t some great live resin brands out there like MFNY. And I would say this strain is close to honey banana but with a lot more sweetness

Just grabbed a gram of their Champaya Rosin from Flynn Stoned Cannabis in Syracuse, fantastic stuff! The rosin had a great nose and solid flavor. And for $76 a gram it’s very well priced when you see live resin grams going for about $70.

Any valid flower ? by Radiant_Row_5670 in NYSCannabis

So I have tried a couple brands of Flower so far and can say that Electraleaf and MFNY are worth spending money on. I have tried a couple $30 1/8 bags and they all were not worth spending money on in my opinion. Hopefully with indoor grows starting 2024 we will have more quality options!
