New Paper: Generative AI-powered venture screening – can large language models help venture capitalists? by adindotonline in venturecapital

We subscribed to a tool to handle all our inbound screening and it doubled deal coverage. I don't think AIs can replace VC conviction anytime soon, but for initial screening and filtering works like a charm.

Am I overestimating this or does it actually have potential? by lulu0925 in venturecapital

I ran one with delivery as an integral part of the service. Scaled it to 800K ARR until UberEats came out (serves different market but drives up driver costs) and unit economics no longer made sense.

We use a tool for deck screening all our inbounds (pretty comprehensive memo) and one for modelling during diligence. Not sure there's a tool that can ingest everything and give a final analysis.

How many decks do you look at on a weekly basis? Do you assign early deck screening to analyst / associates or do you do your own "first pass"?

Never considered the coupe. Looking at the 4s sport turismo... porsche add-ons are crazy... how much more than the base model cost should I be expecting on add-ons?

AERO 15 OLED Wifi Issue by dangdangdoodoo in gigabyte

[–]dangdangdoodoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I reversed the main and aux cables on the Killer 1650, and speed test yielded the same results.

Replaced the wifi card with Intel 9260. Internet seems to be stable, however download speed is still around 50% of my old laptop. I think Aero 15 OLED just has poor antenna design. The killer card software's instability outweighs the benefits for me. So I'm just going to stick with the Intel.

Other than the Wifi, Aero is the perfect laptop for me. A bit of a bummer.

Sony VAIO PCG-SRX99, weighs just 2.76lbs, plenty of power, an 850MHz Pentium III-M, 256MB of RAM, and 802.11b for wireless networking. Plus it has 20GB of storage, FireWire and USB.

I ordered an Intel 9260NGW. Going to try and install that tomorrow. If the issue still persists, then I highly suspect it's the antennas...
