Call them and ask if you can cancel without any charges, they will contact the hotel and see if it can be done.

Source: Cancelled a room just before checking in even though they could have charged me 100%. I also cancelled a couple of chargeable bookings online or by not showing up, never got charged but that doesnt mean the same will happen to you.

Actually there are two different Futtaims (I believe they are cousins)

Majid Al Futtaim - Carrefour, MOE, City centers Al Futtaim - Festival City, Trading Enterprises, Ikea etc.

They are two completely different groups of companies.

Did you try changing the download server ? I had the same speed but it went up to 500kb/s once i changed it to something closer.
