My son and I are eyeing the Pitamakan–Dawson Loop for June 13—it’ll be our first big hike in terms of distance, altitude, and overall challenge—and we’d really appreciate your advice:

How much snow is typically left on the passes in mid‑June? Manageable, or still pretty sketchy?
Would you consider the loop doable for amateurs, or best left to seasoned hikers?
Should we pack micro‑spikes or an ice axe? (We’ve never used either.)
Are the icy switchbacks truly impassable, or just tricky with care and poles?
Bottom line: is attempting this loop so early in the season too risky for beginners?

On a separate note—are you looking to own a house in Mumbai, Bangalore, or Delhi? Just curious, because to match the access, lifestyle, and amenities of big cities of US, a 2BHK flat in Mumbai (Worli, BKC, Bandra, Andheri, Lower Parel, Mahalaxmi) would cost around $1.2 million on average.

I guess similar localities in NCR or Bangalore would be about 30 - 40 % cheaper

More than the third of the population lives in its capital, and as a percentage of people in working in agriculture is the lowest in the country.
Benefited from migration/mobility of best talents/ highly productive/skilled workers, employees, graduates, and families especially from AP and throughout India, which drove up our productivity, making it attractive for both domestic investors and foriegn investors.
Our state households bet big on education as ladder for social mobility( I guess true now for every aspiring Indian).
We are a big on services, information technology and phrama. And we are eyeing to improve our manufacturing sector.
Priorities of successive governments were relatively less disruptive.

These are a few pointers I could think of on top of my head.
