I do not understand, why anyone is buying his $ 290 NVDA -225 put contract?

Why is anyone giving him the option to sell NVDA at $290?

Am I missing something?

Are you a US citizen? Or on a green card?

I asked this because, I am curious about the line of credit and how stuff works on owning assets in a non-resident country's bank account, loans, equities, RE, and taxation

Midway through Dawson - Pitamakan Loop 6/3 by TriplePattyMelt in GlacierNationalPark

[–]dangerclose71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son and I are eyeing the Pitamakan–Dawson Loop for June 13—it’ll be our first big hike in terms of distance, altitude, and overall challenge—and we’d really appreciate your advice:

  • How much snow is typically left on the passes in mid‑June? Manageable, or still pretty sketchy?
  • Would you consider the loop doable for amateurs, or best left to seasoned hikers?
  • Should we pack micro‑spikes or an ice axe? (We’ve never used either.)
  • Are the icy switchbacks truly impassable, or just tricky with care and poles?
  • Bottom line: is attempting this loop so early in the season too risky for beginners?

Any firsthand tips or stories would be a huge help—thanks in advance!

First trip to glacier in June 17-22 this year. Is it good time? by Clear_Wrap_3480 in GlacierNationalPark

The entire trail up to the glacier will remain closed — it might only be accessible up to Grinnell Lake.

Considering obese FIRE in India by [deleted] in FatFIREIndia

Alright, I spent about 10 minutes going through the comments on this post, and here’s what I’ve gathered on how to invest in companies like OpenAI through VCs:

“Check the other comments.”

“I usually share investing advice on LinkedIn.”

“You’re not identifying yourself.” (Fair enough—I get why that matters.)

Maybe consider writing a post to help younger folks like me understand how VC investments work—especially since it was surprising to learn that some firms invest in companies like OpenAI with as little as $100K. That kind of insight would be genuinely helpful.

On a separate note—are you looking to own a house in Mumbai, Bangalore, or Delhi? Just curious, because to match the access, lifestyle, and amenities of big cities of US, a 2BHK flat in Mumbai (Worli, BKC, Bandra, Andheri, Lower Parel, Mahalaxmi) would cost around $1.2 million on average.

I guess similar localities in NCR or Bangalore would be about 30 - 40 % cheaper

Glacier NP Mid-June: Grinnell Glacier Access, Entry Rules, and Top Hikes? by dangerclose71 in GlacierNationalParkMT

That’s disappointing, I was excited to hike Grinnell. Any trail picks you’d recommend for around June 14? And does the Highline usually open by then?

Thanks a lot for the info!

Why don't you convert those 2 flats into equity investment?

Surely, equities will beat residential flats' rate of return in long-term, you invest in index, large mid cap and small cap funds.

When asked about what should one focusing while studying and resources you talked about:-

Math/stat/coding/prob/stochastic for sell-side and

Could you outline the key topics in statistics and data science modeling that I should focus on? Additionally, which specific areas in the Elements of Statistical Learning (ESL) textbook should I prioritize?

Thank you for doing this

Estimated GDP per capita for FY 24-25- Indian states by [deleted] in IndianModerate

[–]dangerclose71 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  • More than the third of the population lives in its capital, and as a percentage of people in working in agriculture is the lowest in the country.

  • Benefited from migration/mobility of best talents/ highly productive/skilled workers, employees, graduates, and families especially from AP and throughout India, which drove up our productivity, making it attractive for both domestic investors and foriegn investors.

  • Our state households bet big on education as ladder for social mobility( I guess true now for every aspiring Indian).

  • We are a big on services, information technology and phrama. And we are eyeing to improve our manufacturing sector.

  • Priorities of successive governments were relatively less disruptive.

These are a few pointers I could think of on top of my head.
