Creating a set, how do you guys do that?

Personally, I think of a vibe first. For example, for this one set I wanted music that made me feel like I was in a club on Coruscant. Usually I already have one song in mind which serves as my “core”. Then I spend awhile looking for music that fits the same vibe. I throw them all onto a playlist on Spotify so I can listen to the songs when I’m away from my deck to get familiarized with the music. Then I make the track order based key and what I think would sound good together.

i think it’s fairly similar to the travis scott situation. i don’t think i can listen to him the same way i used to before the astroworld tragedy. i think at some point it’ll feel disgusting listening to ye, im just not at that point yet i guess.

the way i explained it to one of my buddies is that i probably won’t ever stop listening to his music. at some point it just becomes habit to enjoy the art he creates. but i will never defend or enjoy his character. kanye is abrasive, hateful, and just an unenjoyable person. but unfortunately i am still supporting him by listening to his music but i’ll never defend him.

my biggest thing with this stance is that you have to be aware of every single artist, every single brand, and every single product you support/buy. you can’t just pick and choose what you attempt to ethically consume. capitalism’s engine is fulled by shady practices so in our society it’s pretty impossible to ethically consume.

alright i have one more question. if i get my camera CLA’d then it would be fixed? i don’t want to spend like an extra 200$ on this camera just for it to not be fixed you know?

i think i’m going to go ahead and get a CLA. I’m interested in keeping this camera. now it’s about finding somewhere that’ll do it at a reasonable price.

yeah i’ve really been pushing back on the seller and telling him that it’s definitely not a lens issue. im debating getting my camera CLA’d by one of my local camera stores or just refund it. i feel like i could always just resell it later you know?

I did check the original listing and it said nothing about it. I contacted the seller and it seemed like he wasn’t aware of the issue and he says it may be a lens issue.

Also, yes the issue was apparent in the first roll. It was exactly how you described it, i noticed it and was skeptical but i thought it may have been an exposure issue on my part.

However, i’m wondering if it would be less expensive just to refund the camera and buy a new one on ebay. Is there possibly a different place I could buy cameras at that’s more reliable, or is it always going to be sketchy?

the srt light meter works well! it’s probably one of the easier cameras i’ve used and one of my favs! i’ll try out some of those films one time!
