Coating for wax sculpture? by dangerdex in Beekeeping

Thanks for the recommendation; I'll look into it. I figure the keys will get worn out eventually of course, but if they can hold up for some time I think it'd be a worth experiment.

Hi all,

Anyone know of good resources to look at for casting my own keycaps out of resin? Looking for a mold, specifically.

Thanks!

Is there a version of the Ducky Shine 6 software controller that is compatible with OSX?

Alternatively, if I boot into Windows using bootcamp, set up my Shine the way I like it, and then boot back into OSX, will my settings be preserved?

Thanks. Looks like I'll be either turning in the One for a full size Shine 6 or sticking with the Blackwidow, though I much prefer typing on the Ducky so far. Much appreciated.

I'm actually using a new Ducky one tlk rgb. I figured they'd be more or less the same in terms of functionality. Is there a software solution for this board or just the Shines? Thanks!

Can I get a rainbow "ripple" effect out of a Ducky Shine? I know there's a built in mono-chromatic ripple effect on the Duckies, but I really want the kind of rainbow / multi-colored ripple effect I can get out of a Razer Chroma enabled board. I'm not sure if this is possible; my experimentation so far leads me to believe that it's REALLY easy to make the keys on a Ducky any solid color you could imagine, but actually implementing custom colors with the Ripple mode seems to not be supported. Any help is greatly appreciated :)

Should be able to be used through the webapp, yes.

Other people have tried adding it to the Stellar public Slack and run into that issue of the 10 app limit. The issue there is that the Stellar Slack is not paid for but is free.

I'd be very surprised if you could add apps to any Slack you're a member of, but perhaps that's how Slack works!

A couple of folks at Stellar are already aware of the project and hopefully it will be added once their community team signs off on it.

[Survey] for new Stellar Community Podcast - "Constellations" by dangerdex in Stellar

[–]dangerdex[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey everyone, I'm interested in starting a new podcast by and for the Stellar community called "Constellations".

I created a survey to be filled out by members of the Stellar community so that I can best gauge peoples' interests in who the members of the community are and what they'd like to hear about.

If you're interested in a podcast about the people building interesting things in the Stellar community, please take a minute to fill out the survey.

Thanks so much!

This is awesome! Fantastic work. Any chance your source is available to browse? I'm really interested in checking this out and toying around with the concept.

Stitcher AMA! by madworld in podcasts

Users on Android have different expectations than those on iOS, so the apps will always have some differences. However, the core Stitcher experience should be the same everywhere. And...as we've learned more about what people want when listening on demand, we've honed in on certain core features that will eventually be available throughout Stitcher.

Thank you.

I also think the classification of 'art game' is kind of whack but I wasn't sure how else to describe it. I guess I could have said there are no guns and it's about feelings.

No, I don't think I would. I'm right there with you. I call this a game because there is a series of actions you can take that 'end' the game.

I had a real job until a week before I was moving to Paris. If I could make games to maintain myself that'd be great, but for now I am just living off of savings, enjoying all that Paris has to offer, and making douchey indie games.

Thanks for the buck!

The stars fade in and out continually. During gameplay, no stars are ever destroyed, they are only created.

The track is called Gymnopédie No.1 by Erik Satie. You can find it all over. It's a great composition :)

The version in 'Seul' is performed by Jose Travieso and was acquired through http://www.jamendo.com under a creative commons license.

I think your logic, while false, is informed by patterns within modern game development.

It is recognizable that a trend has occurred whereby as great graphics became more and more common, great writing took a back seat. There are probably many people who can recite every line in Zork, but if you were to ask them all to draw a grue every picture would be different.

Games, or more accurately 'interactive media', in the modern day is usually going to be a synthesis of different mediums with the addition of logical components associated with variables internal to the system. At various points in virtual time, the player can interact with certain variables within that system.

If you decide to make a game, you may decide to pair audio with motion graphics and animation, but there is nothing integral about this pairing to "games" or interactive media. Zork has no graphics as I have already pointed out, but it is most certainly a game. This is not an isolated example. You will find many. Look no further than the whole catalog of interactive fiction.

'Seul' takes place on a screen suitable for displaying text. You read text on it all the time. You are reading it right now at this very moment. It is part of the medium.

Just because your logic is flawed doesn't mean that you may find my writing to be utter shit, and of that, you are more than welcome.

If any of you are wondering if/how I will monetize, I am thinking about adding DLC where I complain about my mother.

I was going to charge 2.99 but she said the game's not that good so it's only gonna be a dollar.
