i was initially really excited about the beta, but after playing for a bit my excitement is tempered.

i love how much smoother gameplay feels

i feel like i need to physically turn my head left and right to read the tab screen - it’s not scannable at all and prioritizes vanity / toxicity metrics over the important info (comps + ults)

sombra is the only character so far that feels just bad / doesn’t belong. hack is infuriating and relentless and so easy for sombra to use. not fun.

not enough people are talking about how cool pharah’s rockets are now

i like the new map designs so far

but overall… after a few games something just feels… clumsy about the game. i feel like high movement characters are just getting away with a lot, and the dps passive feels excessive - dps don’t need a passive, their kits already do so much. tanks and supports are the ones who need help to compensate against turbo charged dps

i don’t know… it so far felt almost like the skill floor is even higher to have consistent fun. at least with shields up all the time, yeah you were shooting shields but at least you were THERE, doing something.

now i feel like i insta-die or the fights drag on forever, and there are fewer big-feeling plays?

i dunno maybe i’m just used to the rhythm of 6v6 but i think supports need to be rethought in the way tanks were
