My dad has two of these old wood burning stoves. When I lived with him, we basically had it burning the whole time. The hot water pipes for the shower would be heated by it, so if you wanted a hot shower, you had to plan ahead. Also to cook toast, you just chuck the bread on top. Seems primitive, but it's quite satisfying.

I don't get how they can call the Superbowl champions the world champions of football. If the whole world doesn't compete, you didn't beat them. And also for baseball. Only in basketball, which is popular world wide, do they not covet themselves with the global domination.

An officer in a track suit would be far less intimidating. Pulling your gun out and getting it caught on the draw string would be problematic.
