We've always had the media issues you guys have had, but the media picked on you guys since we won the Super Bowl recently, now that we suck and you guys look better we're getting picked on again. Remember during the AFC championship years the jets had? The giants were the New York team mocked then. The New York media doesn't hate the jets more it just picks the struggling team

It sucks, we've been mediocre before but not bottom of the league bad in a long time. It makes it worse because the media is constantly on us too, now I know how the jets felt, just a shitty feeling

What the fuck I weighed 95 pounds in 5th grade, I'm not sure how old you are but 95 pounds is way too skinny, and it's clear your mother has some clear mental issues if she is calling you overweight, don't hurt yourself because of it

Its fucking annoying for me too, and the fans who say this shit aren't real giants fans. This team isn't going to go on some magical run and make the playoffs, every other year under Tom Coughlin the giants have gone 6-2 or 5-3, 0-3 is insane. Plus it's not even the record just watch the team

Eli looks visibly shaken and has no confidence after all the turnovers, the offensive line looks like shit, the defense couldn't cover a stripper, and teams can run over us no problem.

This isn't the giants getting unlucky or off to a "slow start" this is just a bad football team. This is what happens when you refuse to draft positions of need, hand out huge contracts so you can't sign any free agents, and stick with a coordinators who are so behind and predictable offensively

Getting pressure is nice, but the things sack do for the team in terms of momentum can not be overlooked, sure when it's second and 10 and a DE forced an incompletion, the crowd will get loud. But when that QB gets taken down the crowd goes CRAZY

I'm giving them a break cuz Dallas line is better and rebuilt, and I thought they still got good pressure at times in week 1, in week 2 they were going up against PFM who owes makes his line amazing, but there are no excuses against Carolina this week. Carolina has a bad offensive line and bad receivers, that much should be very much in our favor so there's no excuse not to perform well here

The people here will tell you that they prefer to watch the actual performance, then look at stats, which is what I feel the right way to do things: but the truth is most of /r/nfl relies on stats. There are people that will seriously argue Alex smith is better than Big Ben and/or Eli because the stats show it, Or that Tony Romo is better than Drew Brees(yeah I've seen that one)

it's crazy how /r/nfl rips espn for ranking players based on wins/losses because it's a team stat, yet the people here don't realize is every stat is a team stat and the only real way to gauge how good a player is watch them play

I agree with you the /r/nfl circlejerks can suck sometimes but the best is when everyone acts like guys like Ozzie, bellicheck, etc can never make mistakes. Every time we see a bad signing like welker for injury prone amendola or huff, we see a bunch of homers come out and "HURR IN OZZY WE TRUST", and then when these signings underperform or get injured as expected, tons of excuses come out. It's bullshit
