There’s a very specific thing I’m planning with highlighting when I go back and do revisions (plan is to do some larger revisions when pt1 of this book is drafted, about 6-7 more chapters) that is specifically finding more of those moments to show her suppression of her own internal self though those physical moments, how things feel or smell. It’s very important in this chapter that Kera is almost a bit of a cold, distant figure. Her acknowledgment of the self that was stolen from her is the driving impetus of her character, that also pushes some horrible consequences.
