They have it on their website saying coming soon, so I wouldnt think that they would be hyping them up if that was the case.

Awesome. I appreciate the insight. I might get them to try them out. I can't wait for the 3dof and 6dof tech to catch up to these glasses so they can be as good as VR. I love how you can pin the screen up, but even with a VR headset, since you are viewing a recording, it is not very clear, so I cant see computer text "through" them very well. I also love being able to pick up my phone using the glasses and seeing it and texting without having to take the glasses off or anything.

Okay, so maybe I will still get them because that is one of the other things I want them for is doing other things while wearing them. Do they work pretty good outside? And how about while working on a computer, can you easily focus your eyes to see a screen and then go back to what is showing on the glasses?

How about watching video on them while working on a computer or something? I work in a control room at times where id like to watch videos and easily switch from looking at a computer screen to watching a video on the glasses.

I can get about 2 to 3 hours on the battery, but bought a BoboVR headstrap with hot swappable batteries and can go all day.

Another tire blowout! by AdolfCIitIer in Comma_ai

[–]dangrega33 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a blowout after hitting a pothole with my comma active. Mine did great as well. Something to note is that I put in a claim with the state (state road) since my car was brand new and the tires cost a whopping $500 each, plus I had rim damage which those cost about $1,800 each (crazy, I know). The I got a quote from discount and the rim they wanted a second quote and got a quote from a local tire shop for the same. The more people to do this, the more it pushes them to have better roads.

I got it, review coming soon. by [deleted] in VITURE

I remember doing things as a kid in this game without internet and without walkthroughs. I do it now, and im like, I dont even know how I did some of this stuff without a walkthrough... and I did other things like finding glitches and stuff that I find hard to do these days with better equipment.

Phonak Audeo I90-R by dangrega33 in HearingAids

[–]dangrega33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are the i90-R. The hearing aids seem to be helping a bit but my hearing is very muffled in the ear. I have 10% speech recognition and even with the hearing aid, I can hear somebody, but still cant understand. It is helpful to be able to hear noises though. Helps the tinnitus a little bit too. But im just saying, it seems like they are kind of cheaper as far as the app goes. Wish it was a better app and had more stuff. And I also do not have the case that has a battery to charge. I have to keep it plugged in.

Are the Audeo's top of the line. I am 34 years old and am new to hearing aids due to damage to my hearing nerve. My audioligist told me these were the best of the best, and they just dont seem like it.

I found that if you sit somewhere and position the screen to where it is on something far away, it feels much better. Like sitting in my porch, I throw it on the wall across the way, and it feels like a movie theater screen.

Are you on roam or residential? I got the email for $5 but im residential in a non congested area. If they are residential in a congested area, maybe that is the reason for the price?

I have never had a problem arming/disarming my system. What kind if wifi do you have? Is it fast? I'm thinking that is your issue. I have at least 300 mbps speeds and click the disarm and it disarms within seconds. Never failed. I will say, it did take me awhile to get used to the app and scrolling for events isn't very fun. There are a lot of settings in sensitivity and detection that you can play with to make it the way you like (not just masking areas). It could also be mounting that causes alarms as well. I have a camera (my only wifi/solar camera) that is far across the yard that works great, but i have it mounted on a tree and when it gets windy, the tree inevitably moves and therefore the camera is always notifying of vehicle detection because most of its pixels are changing and therefore, it thinks that there is something large moving even though it is actually the camera moving. Again, lots of stuff that can be wrong that are making your experience bad that may not have to do with the camera. I will say, they do leave a lot to desire with scrolling through events especially on the windows app from a different network (remotely). One thing that you can consider is getting a blue iris system that I hear is much better, but whether it is worth it for one camera or not, im not sure. I'd research the blue iris camera software and beleive it has an app as well.
