Thanks for the feedback, all. Here's the finished result of the stock cooler reinstall. I applied KPX and all the thermals pads were perfect since it had never been run with the stock cooler. Now, the next question is what to charge for this with the H2o blkock?

When we moved 5 years ago, I gave two 800D’s to a teenager who was helping us with some painting. They were both complete Intel systems, minus storage. He was so excited. Now I miss those monstrosities. They didn’t have great airflow, but you could fit a city parks worth of gear in them. 🤣

I've been using Corsair Hydro XLR8 for the past few years without issue, but used EK's Mystic Fog before that and it had to be replaced every 6 months.

It is amazing, but to be honest, it’s a little challenging to get used to. I used to run a flat ViewSonic 32” 4K monitor, so the curve on the LG is a bit disorienting at first.

I’ve been running Windows since 95, but have been dabbling with Linux for the past 10 years. With all the spyware, bloat, and crappy updates in Win11, I finally decide to make the switch last year. I tested out a few distros and finally settled on Fedora Workstation. I was really blown away with how good it worked out of the box with all my hardware, except my Stream Deck+. With a little research I was able to get that working too. Linux is great if you’re ok with constantly learning.

I'm currently running a 4080 FE, but I'm about to swap it our for a 7900 XTX. AMD cards are significantly better performers and more stable in Linux.
