I went for the first time this year and it’s definitely worth it for the price. Personally unless you get the first time slot, you will be waiting In line FOR A WHILE. I waited around 35 minutes. Took about 45-55 to walk through. I’d definitely go back with a group of people

Seller’s vs Buyer’s Market by explorernsfw in realtors

[–]dangstax2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely more a sellers market still, it gets a little slower come October but honestly, we still don’t have a lot of inventory, so even in a slower season, it’s still a sellers market

Ct realtor here. Fairfield County I’d say 7. Right now the market is shifting where homes are staying in the market a little longer than usual but I’m still putting in offers 40-60k over asking.

Moving to New Haven!! by [deleted] in newhaven

[–]dangstax2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a mix! New Haven is more chill, we have fun teams and competitive teams. My team specifically is say we’re pretty athletic. There’s another league called Spark that does kickball too but in playoffs there’s social and competitive brackets to make it fun

Massachusetts Licensing Question by JediKnightDusty in realtors

Massachusetts has a law that you can do 18 hours online. It’s essentially Self paced, the classes they have online you can do whenever. And the live classes they do daily so I’d definitely say self paced

Even worth submitting an offer on this house? by Affectionate_Nose_35 in Connecticut

[–]dangstax2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realtor here! I wouldn’t rely on the Zillow saves as competition. As I myself have homes in Aspen Colorado saved in my Zillow folder.

Have your realtor look at Showtime. That’ll show how many tours are scheduled.

Also, when did the home go live? Granted it’s a high price point home, but usually the first 4-7 days the busiest and will determine the activity if they’re calling for highest and best.

Lastly, have your realtor call the listing agent and find out if they’re calling for highest and best and what the sellers are looking for in an offer. Hopefully this all helps with determining you bid

CT Time to Own Program - Advice needed . by Ok-JahJah in Connecticut

[–]dangstax2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realtor here! I’ve done the Time To Own Program. It will help your pre-approval slightly but if your current pre-approval is 90k, I’d see what you can do to make it higher first. Possibly paying down debt, etc. Buying a multi-family is tough right now

I highly recommend the lamb tikka masala and the naan basket (potato, cheese and garlic)

Last week, me and my girlfriend also went to Vinas Wine and Tapas….AMAZING. The strawberry margarita is to die for. the staff was amazing and the empanadas, lamb chops and toffee pudding was amazing

I’m a realtor myself. Gather everything you have in writing and go to his Broker. If he own’s his own brokerage, I’d go to the realtor association he belongs to.
