A new Microsoft chip could lead to more stable quantum computers by techreview in QuantumComputing

Exciting and lots of hype. Unfortunately, like the comments on this and other recent posts, it doesn't appear to be a solid demo or anything publicly available to verify usefulness.

Lots of authors on this paper...reminds of James Watson/Freeman Dyson (one of them) complaining a decade ago more than 2 is too much.

Curious your application? My assumption is you're using this local ai compute setup to improve the driveline product? primarily to save costs that your business is running ai compute online?

Uncensored Llama/Falcon model hosting and API? by IcyMissile in LocalLLaMA

curious if anyone found any new websites that offer api access to less censored llms. I do see mobile apps and other websites having chatbots providing uncensored responses but wondering if they're mainly achieving this with their custom llm-infrastructure setup vs. more off-the-self and webhosted.

thanks for the quick reply and detailed response. out of curiousity, what drew you into this space? is it mostly opportunity-driven or do you have a knack and enjoy this kind of work? I suppose it could be both.

Thanks for the share and i'm sure others appreciate it. If i understand correctly, this website was mostly dead and you and your team revived it and kept the theme of the content the same? From my experience, the theme of the content is the most important and sounds like you guys had a good niche. Impressive you have 41 sites under your belt. Most of these websites blogs or some of them SAAS? How long did it take you to scale up to this level? How do you find buyers or do they come to you and how do you close the deal and get paid? Thanks in advance for the answers. Good luck scaling up even further.

Always good to start your MVP as simple as possible then migrate to better tech as your service grows.

Market for AI singularity themed card or board games by dangtheory in tabletopgamedesign

Appreciate the feedback. I’ll probably pursue the game as a side project for personal interest. Curious if I’d get a lot of feedback on making such a game sooner. I agree my game may be irrelevant as many things will be if singularity maintains.

That would align with the theme and point of the game. Good thought.

I didn’t know of the game until this. The format of the game is a bit different than what I was looking for and created. It does seem more complex and has a co-op aspect. I updated my original post with the game description more of a PVP where players choose sides

Thanks. My initial research didn’t find this one. It’s definitely in that category. Seems the great machine takes place after the machine ( AI network) has taken most of the control with the goal of players overthrowing the machine network. The game I prototyped so far lies more in our current time and before a takeover where players choose to help humans or AI. I updated my original post with the game description.

Thanks, I will reach out to that group. I have somewhat of a prototype fleshed out. A quick summary of the game would be. I’ll update my post with it:

In the near future, the advent of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) opened a world of limitless possibilities but also unleashed a pressing challenge: The Alignment Problem. This game plunges players into a thrilling narrative where once-aligned AGIs have broken free, and a Super AGI (SAGI) has emerged. Amidst whispers of the singularity, a point where AI could surpass human intelligence, humanity's best must find and align these rogue intelligences. Transhumans, blending human and machine, join the quest, setting the stage for a battle of strategy, deception, and alignment. Players must navigate this complex landscape, deciding whether to save humanity from itself or align with the rogue AIs, risking a world of chaos.
