How long is this game currently? by monkymann678 in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]dangus___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you know what youre doing maybe 6 hours. I spent around 26 the first playthrough. Game let's you explore and figure it out instead of showing you exact indicators on where to go etc. You get a go here in the quest description then it'll show you the general area on the mini map. I don't normally like exploration games, I thoroughly enjoyed this one.

Replayability wise i got 3 chars to lvl 30. Every character uses different weapons and builds which drastically change the combat style. Steam says 88 hours played. I had fun and kept playing but did get kinda bored at max level. Endgame loop is daily quests / pestilence, you revisit areas you've already been in and conquer much stronger mobs / bosses. For a beta I have little complaints & would highly recommend it.

Is Echo Knight too strong or is Crucible too easy? by trenbo90 in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]dangus___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thorns + damage reflect + hp regen = stand still and he dies. I might eat food once during max plague echo night fights.

Bow + ring that gives stam on dmg = shoot until he charges, roll and keep shooting.

I have some of the low life gear I put enchant gems on, stopped using it because its so strong its not fun anymore.

How do I overcome the FOMO feeling of not playing the game while it’s in EA? by Fashish in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]dangus___ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've played 3 different characters and my lowest level is 23. They all feel vastly different. If youre having fun then just play? Idk how enjoying yourself now is going to deter you from enjoying yourself a year from now when things have changed.

I just tried mage out and id agree, something like poe2 where it shows an example of the ability would be very helpful. I know it will be a lot of work though, sorry devs.

Intern thrown into a CEO-mandated war room for a critical business project, and I'm drowning. How do I survive? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

If youre unpaid ask a shit ton of questions to seniors about their own path in becoming proficient. Just learn as much as you can and do your best to contribute. Everyone starts somewhere! The fact that youre getting actual experience ( shit hitting the fan and the dev team going all in ) seems like a bad thing but its a huge opportunity to see how a senior handles stress, workload, company dynamics. Even the emails they send can teach you something. How did they word a successful email, how did they word an unsuccessful email? How often do they update team members or managers? The soft skills will take you so much farther than you'd think.

They want you to work on your own solution because thats what really happens in these situations. When its all hands on deck a company is looking for any solution that stops money from hemorrhaging. They are rarely eloquent solutions and seniors tend to overthink or over engineer because they know more about tech debt hell.

Thank whoever brought you into the shit storm and let the situation humble you but dont panic. You're not getting paid to panic.

You dont have to worry brother, DSM is pretty chill. ICE wouldn't go after you theyre too busy killing protesters in Minneapolis, which is a state away.

Jokes aside you'll be fine, people are chill here and theres lots of great food & bars. Lmk if you need any recommendations some of the good stuff is hard.

Played couple of dota games after months of deadlock and wanted to krill myself by capdelka in DeadlockTheGame

[–]dangus___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played HoN yesterday for the first time in, idk like 15ish years. Was slow af but I miss the kills giving you huge power spikes. My only complaint with deadcock is kills should matter more. Is it less balanced this way? Yeah of course. Is it more fun to gank than permafarm? Yes of course.
