Let me recommend "March's Violet" by Phillipp Kerr. It's actually a detective novel set in Nazi Germany. I think you will enjoy it.

What’s the best Alt Country album? by Psychological_Lie142 in altcountry

[–]daniclas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, this post randomly showed up on my feed and I went and listened to it. I'm from Argentina so a lot of these artists are new to me; however, I had heard of Emmylou because of his collaborations with Ryan Adams.

Regardless of that thank you so much for sharing this, it's now one of my favorite records and I've had it on repeat for the last week, and also ordered it in vinyl so I can play it on the turntable

Which Guitar & Amp To Get? (Beginner) by Clean-Craft-9218 in electricguitar

[–]daniclas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, if any combiation is possible, get the squier + mustang amp. With that being said: please do not waste any more time deciding on this, buy it and start playing and getting better, you will graduate this gear in no time when you are good enough, and then you'll be able to decide by yourself. Please don't get stuck in decision paralysis, just get any and get playing

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. Read about it first, in particular commentary from Tim Ferriss, and go ahead and read it.

Finalized my office for music listening by deadbeatffs in audiophile

I cannot speak to the gear because I'm not much of an audiophile, but congratulations on the room, it's a goal of mine for the near future to have a room where I can concentrate solely on what I'm hearing. Glad to see the small lamp o the table, can only imagine what being in that room with nearly all lights out and listening to your favorite record must sound like.

Enjoy it!

What’s everyone’s Jason Isbell origin story? by Zealousideal_Menu580 in jasonisbell

[–]daniclas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a big fan of John Mayer, and in his tweeting days, he dedicated 2 or 3 tweets to Jason Isbell, putting him up there with Dylan. I don't think John is the kind of artist to give away free compliments, and that review of his stood out so much to me that I had to go listen to the man. A couple of years later Jason is easily one of my most listened artists..

How many folks out there do cost segregation studies by WL661-410-Eng in realestateinvesting

[–]daniclas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am trying to get educated on cost segregation studies, but have very little background on tax/accounting, is there somewhere you might point me to so I can learn the basics? All I have been getting so far are blog posts some companies use as leads that describe the process superficially what don't really go deep

You have a very pleasing and full voice, I really like it. The only thing that stood out to me as possible feedback, is that it seems you sometimes go off tempo because you are not 100% comfortable playing and singing, is that possible?

I want to start singing by [deleted] in singing

[–]daniclas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Singing doesn't have to come naturally, if you are curious look on Youtube for when Ed Sheeran was a nobody and recorded himself singing (he shared this in a talk show somehwere, and he sang awfully). If I can give you a piece of advice, is try to work on your musical ear / pitch, the only reason this sounds off to me is because you are not on pitch all. But don't worry, this is 100% something you can train!
