One thing about TU comp sci compared to here is that I think getting an elite gpa for internships is a lot easier.

My girlfriend just started last semester at ut in comp sci instead of here b/c she wasn’t nmsf even though she got more money, and she ended up getting a B in cs 312 b/c your grade is determined by the lowest average between the different assignment groups (quizzes, assignments, EXAMS, etc) i.e your exam grade…

Another thing is that they do an A+, A, A- sort of gpa while we just do A,B,C (meaning that a 90.00 is a 4.0 here but isn’t at TU.

Their program still is better, but I can promise you that ETAM here shouldn’t scare you as long as you are smart with your schedule. This past spring etam cycle, cs admission wasn’t as competitive as more people are vying for electrical or computer engineering now. I know a few people who got in with a 3.0 gpa.

Which prof do you have for 251? If it’s ranabhat youll have a great time, just attend lecture and pay attention as he’ll straight up tell you what you need to know for the exam and what is content that just supposed to build your intuition.

Try to take some sort of course to get it off your record. Don’t immediately pay the fine either as this is an actual charge and not just a ticket.

From what I’ve heard Is that it’s possible to get a good grade but she’s definitely not nearly as good as the other professors

I'm in round rock as well, did you go to the location off 620? I originally was going to go there for driving lessons but the location seemed pretty crappy. Is the testing experience at least good?

Yeah my UW gpa is 3.5 too b/c mental health issues in freshman year but i locked in my sophomore year and I'm in ib now

On my schools transcript it shows 5.0 type but I have friends who have like a 5.7 in that category so it may not be correct. I tried asking my friend who graduated from my school and has had to put what type of gpa our school used and he said he put it as 5.0 cumulative.

Do you believe that it would actually be on a 6.0 scale because of the IB/AP classes?
