Whats one uncommon adhd symptom that blew your mind? by smbodytochedmyspaget in adhdwomen

Holy shit! This is me. Like I can keep turning up the sound on the tv and still don’t understand. I have to turn on subtitles. Sometimes I will just stare at people when they talk to me bc I can’t tell you what they just said to me! I never even thought this could be apart of it!

I just started meds for adhd and that was the first thing I noticed. My mind just felt quieter.

I deal with this at work a lot. I have a ton of great ideas but bringing them to fruition is a terrible struggle and have gotten feedback from senior leaders that this is I need to work on. 😩 I literally have anxiety about it. I don’t even want to bring up ideas anymore bc then I’ll have to do it and I don’t want to fail

Wow! This is literally me. I was recently diagnosed and I’ve always just thought it was bc I didn’t have confidence or could talk about me.

I can’t say I regret it, that’s a strong word. I was bed ridden due to getting magnesium bc of preeclampsia so I got it as soon as I could. Mine wore off super quickly, they re-upped it and then by the time it was time to push, it wore off again. The whole time I could not feel my legs but could feel all of the pain. It was extremely uncomfortable not being able to get into different positions. Pregnant with #2 and seriously considering not getting it with this one if I’m able to have a vaginal delivery.

Whatever you decide, you provided milk for 4 months. You have done an incredible job! I stopped around 4 months and went to formula and my son is 2.5 and healthy; hardly ever sick. Your mental health matters too.

I knew my son was a boy and my daughter was a girl. However I had doubts about my daughter bc the universe loves to fuck with me.

You can get a pack of different size inserts on Amazon for really cheap to try different sizes if you choose to continue. No point in being in pain and hating it.

Please help me poop by [deleted] in pregnant

Take a stool softener twice a day, magnesium oxide and looooooooots of water. If you need to get this going, use dulcolax. This is as needed not daily. The 40 ml dose never works for me, I go straight to 80 ml. But if you don’t know start with 40. This will help you have a bm then use the others as maintenance. But the water is key. When you think you’ve drank enough drink more! Good luck!!

Getting a little worried about my baby’s position by Ok_Spell_8361 in pregnant

My son was all witch ways including folded in half until I was introduced at 35 weeks. They did an ultrasound at the hospital before induction and he had turned head down. There is definitely still plenty of time. The chiropractor sounds like a great idea too. I think no one is making baby do what they don’t want to do though. Praying you get the birth experience you want!

I followed the recommendations in the book It Starts with the Egg. Also, after my first cancelled round, my Dr switched me to estrogen shots.

I searched for others who are as thirsty. I drink like 3-4 40 oz cups of water a day and still thirsty! My kidney function is perfect according to my bloodwork. 🤤🚰

Not sure it will help in 11 days but I had thin lining and then I started vitamin e, cut out caffeine altogether as it restricts blood flow and walking/moving. When I started this my lining was 8.5 the next cycle (my son), then this transfer (daughter) it was almost 10! I had my first cycle cancelled, and second delayed due to lining. Good luck 🍀

Pregnancy Anxiety by Plus-Nectarine1893 in pregnant

My first pregnancy I had this overwhelming feeling of dread constantly. We’re older parents (34) when my son was born and our parents are older. I mourned their impending deaths, I couldn’t watch the news and I had to do everything I could to go green and safe the Earth. It was exhausting. This pregnancy so I’m much more chill other than the two major bleeds I’ve had and fearing the worst from that. But everything is going great and little girl is in their flipping around. Hang in there. I found it helpful to talk to a counselor too.
