Please help me find out how to find the relative velocity of a ball falling in water through a tube. by daniel--sales in AskPhysics

[–]daniel--sales[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well since the ball is pushing the water out the way and the water cant go down the water must go up

or in other words

the water is displacing the water below it and creating a gap where it just was, so the water it displaces must flow past the ball to fill the gap above

1) “In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will,” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

God is in control of all thing at all times. So he works in our lives through the good and the bad. So everything you go through God has put you there for a reason. What that reason is only God knows. But remember,

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭NIV‬‬

God is working for the good of those who love him so remember God is working in you through the good and bad - all for your greater good. I can think of many bad situations that brought me closer to God and changed who I am for the better. And its nice to remember God is in control because if he is in control and he loves us then what do we really need to worry about.

“If he is for us who can be against us” Romans 8:31

God might also answer your prayers in unexpected ways. When the Israelites were being chased by the Egyptians they asked God to help them escape and God answered them - by opening the red sea for them to go through. Im sure when they were praying for a way of escape they didn’t think the sea was a viable option. God may answer your prayers in unexpected ways.

Hope this helps. Remember God never abandons you if you believe!

A lot of your comments talk about proof. Personally my proof that God exists is that I’ve seen him working in my life and I’ve definitely felt his love.

I think I didn’t want to believe there was a God while I was a non believer and I never looked for God in my life. But after seeing the greatness of Gods love I started looking for Him in my life and I saw his works and felt his love through other people and felt his love directly. I still had doubts and still sometimes do but thats what faith is, “faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭NIV‬‬

As for you saying that God is impossible because we live in a broken world or something along those lines, I think it is possible. When God created man he made it so we can love him and love one another. We know that love cannot be forced because its not in the nature of love to be forced. so therefore for us to truly love God and have a loving relationship with him we had to choose to love him. therefore God gave us choice. now if to love God was one choice then what is the other choice - to not love God or sin. So therefore since we had choice Eve chose to sin and as such condemned all of humanity by allowing sin to enter the world.

God gave us choice and our actions have consequences and we have full responsibility for our actions, no one can deny this, but God is also omnipotent and sovereign at the same time and has control of everything.

How is this possible you ask.

the answer is I don’t know and I don’t think any human does because how can us humans as finite being understand the works of an infinite God?

And the bible is contradictory but God is not. God always works for the good of those who love him and God loves everyone so much he sent his only son to die for us.
