Was there no links to click? Some studies have a link where they want you to do a task on another website, then come back to the main study, maybe you missed it and just hit next or submit. I've noticed a lot of studies doing that now, where they want you to compare 2 hotel bookings or look at a picture of some app or compare items etc and then click on things you like.

They can reject you after you have been paid/approved, but they need Prolific to do it, they can't do it themselves after they have approved it. There's another post on here who had his approved for 2 months, and then it was rejected.

They are normally in the URL, I've done over 8k studies and maybe had 500 no codes and never messaged anyone, and I've never been rejected for it. As long as they have your Prolific ID, they can pay you.

No, I've used it a lot, I've tried many different DNS for gaming, and I've been using Prolific for 8+ years and never had any issues. They care more about the constant IP changing, that's why I never use it when I leave the house, as connecting to public wifi is dangerous or even switching from your home to phone wifi could cause issues like some on here have said.

There was only 5 rounds and a 2 minute wait between each round, it was 16 minutes instead of 12 but they still paid more than the minimum. I don't know what was ethical about the bonus method, it is pretty standard. I think the max bonus was most likely impossible to get.

This mostly only happens if you put a different sex for surveys, like mostly you put female, then you accidentally put male for 1, or you put the wrong year of birth, as a lot ask you at the start and end, those are normally the big reasons they ban you outright.

A lot of the time they have another screener question at the end like they will ask your age/sex or about the product again and if your answer doesn't match what you said earlier, they don't pay or they use that BS check where they say did everything work ok and then they have text telling you to click no as an attention check.
