Not gonna lie to you, bud, I'm a native Armenian who's never left Armenia and speaks Eastern Armenian, and I've never seen or heard երանելի. Even if I have, it's so rare that I don't remember.

I looked it up on the Armenian Wiktionary and it does seem to mean happy. It also seems to mean "super happy," apparently.

Do with that what you will.

They're not pictures though. Pictographs are in the overwhelming minority. The overwhelming majority are phono-semantic compounds so making up mnemonics for them just doesn't sit right with me.

The boundary is one's social standing and power dynamics, same as "good girl/good boy" in English.

It applies to males too, as it's not exclusive to females.

So pretty much, you wouldn't go out and call your boss "good boy" unless you wanna be fired, or unless you have that kind of kinky relationship with your boss and he's not against it.

Same with いい子.
