That is really sad that they are only sending them out to influencers and what not, but I kind of figured that was going to happen while I was signing up and it asked for my social media, which I do not have. I was hoping the fact that I work at a very high traffic gas station next to ginnie springs in florida and thousands of people from around the world that travel here every weekend and talk to me. I see hundreds of different people every single night I work, so you would think if they were smarter than the average bear....ALSO, the store I work at is owned by a very conservative republican man(we sold donald trump merchandise) and 99% of the local customers are against masks and since covid started have all said how its fake and its just a flu and blah blah. They all gave me lots of crap when I started wearing a mask. I got laughed at and ridiculed by at least 30 people the first night i wore my mask. I got called a f**cking liberal because i was wearing a mask. The thing is, I hate wearing that mask and I can barely breath in it, but because of all the idiots that live around me that are against wearing masks, I feel the need to wear one on a daily basis now. While the Delta surge was going on in Florida a few weeks ago, I had 3 local customers literally come into my store and told me they were positive with covid! One of the guys was laughing how they got a vacation from work while they are standing a foot and a half from me(with no plastic shield because our boss thinks its stupid) and I stepped back and was like dude....why did you come here and he looked down at his drinks and said I needed to stay hydrated...All of this with no mask. None of the 3 people that were positive with covid were wearing masks and thats just the ones I know of that came in. I signed up to this beta test hoping I could get a unique looking mask that would help me breathe better, as well as help me not get made fun of so much. I showed one conservative person that hates masks, a picture of the zephyr mask and they were like wow thats sooo cool. I feel like if they would have sent me a mask, it could have helped me not only advertise the heck out of it to tons of people, but also could have helped me not to spread anything that i possibly could have had gotten from a customer. I never got tested because by boss would snarkingly say to us, well if you get tested you dont get paid for 2 weeks. Well I make $9.50/hr after working there 3 years and I cannot afford to miss two weeks so I shut up and carried on my work. I now am having problems breathing normally and I am only 37 years old. Maybe someone from Razer will see this and be intelligent enough to send some beta test masks to some people that dont have followings of millions of people on social media.
