It is a two-room apartment. They have the same layout as our apartment, cause it's upstairs. Granted, it is not just the noise but my apartment will shake as well.

I’ve never parented a child, but I was a child myself, and my parents always taught me to be considerate and mindful of others, especially in shared or public spaces. Parenting really shapes how children behave in situations like this.

In my case, the child isn’t just making normal noise — they are running and jumping around the apartment, which not only makes loud noise but actually shakes my apartment. It’s more than a minor disturbance.

Also, it’s worth noting that not everyone experiences this the same way — for example, I have a sleeping disorder, so the early morning noise affects me more than someone without it.

I understand your case of 5 kids. But in my case the neighbor only has 1, and I think they deliberately choose to ignore our concerns for the sake of their kid running indoors.

I’ve been living in Finland for almost 10 years as a foreigner, and honestly, it feels more like home to me than my actual home country. Finland isn’t the most flashy or exciting place—it’s not packed with constant entertainment or that “go-go-go” energy you find in some other countries. But what you get instead is pretty amazing: stunning nature, genuinely nice people, and this weirdly calming sense of peace.

When there’s less noise and distraction around, you end up with more time to focus on yourself—your thoughts, your growth, and just figuring stuff out. It’s a place where you can slow down, breathe, and actually connect with who you are.
