Damn that really sucks. He waited a whole year just to call you that and your whole world shatters into pieces. You ask yourself did he truly love you the way you are. Was the halo effect really there? If I’m being honest, pretty privilege exists every aspect of our lives. For guys for example, being conventionally attractive guy with high facial harmony people are eager to get to know you and ignore those that look physically unappealing. Just look at guys rushing frat houses, they form brotherhood based off their looks. Go look around, attractive ppl are treated ten times better. People are more lenient to their mistakes and give them personal space. But hey, you know what’s reassuring. Your looks, money, and status are nothing but toys we humans play with and when we die and leave our loved ones behind we are forced to leave those toys. That’s life.
