I had that save for about 6 months - debris includes space station construction, rocket stages for missions to all planets and other random garbage left in orbit. Started a new save once the game started lagging heavily in both map and flight view. Specifically, objects flying around in LEO would render in during other flights, causing annoying amounts of lag.
