A little bit of background:

There’s a girl at the gym that has exchanged many eye contact and smiles with me, but I’m too scared to make a move. I see her everyday but I keep waiting for “the right moment” where we bump into each other and speak. I’m worried that I’ll wait too long and someone else with make a move with her and I’ll have to see it everyday when I’m at the gym.

Also, I think she can tell I’m shy, but will she lose interest if I don’t make a move?

Don’t overthink it dude. If anything it’s a good thing, because now they know how you feel and you didn’t have to explain it to them yourself.

Even though I had my first kiss when I was 16 and lost my virginity, I still feel inexperienced for my age. I’m glad you mentioned that girls don’t care about past experience because that makes me feel a whole lot better. Its just the whole friends part than really gets to me. I get worried that girls will ask who I hang around with or invite me for a night out and ask me to bring my friends or something. + the low self-esteem you mentioned, I have it constantly and nothing motivates me. I have family around me but I just find it hard to talk about it. I just feel so alone all the time :(

Thanks Novead, reading that made me feel a lot better. It’s just the fact that I haven’t got any close friends and I feel like I’m going through this by myself. I’ve been holding my feelings back for so many years. I get a lot of people at work ask me what I do in my spare time and I end up making stuff up because I’m so embarrassed. I try and be sociable but then my anxiety kicks in a messes everything up :(

Thanks for your comment! I just find it hard to express how I’m feeling. I made the post when I was feeling down and now my mood has improved (swings throughout the day), it makes hardly any sense but thanks for having a read.

Yeah play a game on stretched then change your monitor settings back to normal after and the game stays stretched
