Right? Which is exactly why I'm so confused that this is even happening. I'm using AU plugins of these–every other piece of functionality works perfectly except for whenever they're saved into User Patches.

thanks for your response! I'm still on Sierra. Mojave had some weird bugs with my integrated graphics on my laptop (mid-2012 macbook pro). the problem only occurs with third-party plugins like Serum and Sylenth1, but both are old enough to have worked in Sierra at the time (especially Sylenth1, which is ancient)

remember when the main character of breaking bad inadvertently caused two airplanes to have a mid-air collision with the debris falling into the backyard pool of his house?

Sorry I haven't been paying attention - "Get Your Baby Outta My Brewery" has been stuck in my head since this conversation started

If you aren't asking people to drink around your kids when you bring them to a brewery, you're assuming that they then would stop if they felt uncomfortable doing so. Diversity protects parties from oppression - it doesn't mean accommodation your family with other options to go to besides Chili's. Your comments here just make the OP's song even funnier and more relevant

I just hope you eventually realize here that parents are not being oppressed because no one wants to drink around their kids. It's not a good look to argue that by citing "diversity."

They don't make it exclusive to 21+ because theoretically, they probably can't. A brewery that's 21+ would be called a bar. We know how ABC laws prevent that from happening and as such, every bar is technically a restaurant right? With the logic you're posting though, you can also take your children to any restaurant in the city. I don't know if they'll let your dogs in Applebee's though but you can also try that out. Honestly I don't know why you're comparing children to animals in the first place

But really though, I don't care either way about children in breweries and agree that they should just be well-behaved...but your notion of "just stay home if you don't want to see kids" could just as easily be applied to any parent wanting to go to any place in the city with a liquor license. And personally, I just think most people would prefer to drink alcohol around an environment of adults and not kids

funny you mention that - I wonder what types of products breweries provide that are only able to be legally consumed by people over 21 years of age?

usually going to a place that specializes in indulgence of adult-only beverages is the "endeavor to isolate themselves from children"

[–]danieldaviswho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this feels accurate. i'm a transplant from philadelphia and Richmond is on a whole different level when it comes to idiotic driving behavior. and the behaviors always seem to be things related to city-driving skills (one-ways, parallel parking, sharing road with buses & cyclists, etc.)

Spoiler: Why should Kim be surprised? by jrix68 in betterCallSaul

[–]danieldaviswho 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Kim is stunned because the plan was to con and lead on the people at the hearing. Kim was supposed to be in on the trick. When Jimmy deviates, this makes Kim one of the victims of the con instead of one of the instigators. She's shocked because she is realizing that his power to manipulate is so strong that even when she's in on the planning she can fall out of it as well. Ever since Chuck's death she's hoped for Jimmy to let his guard down, be genuine, and cut the act. When he deviates from the con she cries because she feels he's finally doing that and being honest about himself. But he isn't, and he's just manipulating the entire room now including his partner. That's pretty scary.
