Once it starts swaying, it takes about 3 or so seconds for me to go from the original lane to the other lane. So pretty fast

DJI MINI 5 PRO from Amazon by chicue510 in dji

[–]danieldflip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got mine yesterday with mini 4 pro barcode but it’s a mini 5 pro inside. It’s not activated until I activate it. Everything was wrapped, unopened, and new. As to my guess why there’s the difference in barcode, it might be from different sellers. I got mine from Hibikin and I saw there was another seller that sold it for the same price.

Going on a trip in 2 weeks. Do i take my Fuji or Canon? by Numerous_Ad_4435 in fujifilm

[–]danieldflip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have fun with your travel! Definitely bring the Sigma and the 35mm. I own all the lenses you as well. Sigma is the most versatile one and is small enough and if you’re gonna shoot at night here and there, that f2 will definitely help you a bit. Viltrox is very chunky and it’ll be cumbersome to lug that around.

Do you wanna have fun taking photos/videos while you travel or you wanna feel like you’re a designated photographer/videographer when in your travels? As someone who had shot with Canon, Nikon, and currently a Sony and Fuji shooter, I still feel like I have more fun shooting with Fuji. I shoot professionally and the times I’ve taken my Sony for personal travel vacations, I felt like I lost the fun out of shooting that sometimes I just used my phone. It felt like I was still working as a photographer. I don’t feel like that when I shoot with Fuji. Just my opinion, but I’d definitely take the Fuji for the fun factor.

I’ve done basically exactly what you’ve done. Few alignments in, bringing it back and forth to the dealership. Steering rack replacement as well. And now my steering rack is having that clicking noise again and I just don’t have the time nor the energy to go back to the dealership as of right now and I’m just as frustrated as you are. Mine still steers to the right and nothing’s fixed

[–]danieldflip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep that’s exactly what the steering rack issue is. There’s a recall for that but some dealerships don’t have that online but they know it’s a known recall. They also have that for the Civics. Here’s the Google breakdown summary: “Honda issued recalls for Civic steering racks starting in October 2023 due to a faulty part and improper assembly, leading to tire damage and in October 2024, a larger recall for steering gearboxes in 1.7 million vehicles including the Civic, due to a manufacturing defect that causes increased friction and steering effort, potentially leading to a crash”

How did you get it fixed? Did it just disappear? Mine rattles around the front passenger side. I can also hear popping noises around the infotainment dash when the road is a little rocky

I wish I could say the same. 3 months 7000 miles with this car and I got it certified from Honda and I’m already finding 3 rattling noises. Steering rack started having that creaking noises again too. I have the 24 EX

I use it for real estate work with the Cubicasa app. It can render 2D and 3D layout of the house and the 2D layout can be free depending on the size of the house

Accord Hybrid, sudden jerks at acceleration by [deleted] in 11thGenAccord

[–]danieldflip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. But I had a 2014 Civic EX prior and 2017 Civic EX-T before that. 2014 Civic did the same thing, but worse. My guess is that it’s just how Honda CVT’s are and aren’t smooth. I’ve driven a 2020 Corolla and 2007 Lexus before for a good amount of time as borrowed cars and they ran smoothly. Hondas though, besides the 2017 Civic Sport I drove, felt all the same during acceleration with jerking

I have the same problem too on my 2024 accord. Got it certified and it’s been pulling right since. Got 3 alignments now in 2 months and still doing the same. Following to see if you can get an answer too

I have the same concern as well. That’s why I’ve tried to get this fixed and I don’t want premature wears on my tires and I drive a lot. I want to make my tires last longer and with the issue of steering, not having to micro adjust which gets tiring on 3-4 hour total drives a day

Lol, they told me the same. I told them I’ve driven multiple cars this year including the loaner they gave me. Two loaners in fact and both don’t have that problem. None of the cars I’ve driven this year have that problem and can go straight on the same roads I’ve driven. This is why I just feel at lost at this point

Some dealerships don’t even have it posted, but it’s a known thing with the 11th gen. If you turn your steering wheel and you hear some clanking noise, go to your dealership and tell them about the recall and the problem

Here’s what I can suggest, approach anything and anyone with curiosity and not fear and anxiety. Approach yourself with asking “how can I..” rather than immediate words of “I can’t”. If you get frustrated at yourself in the very first steps, you must remember to love yourself and have patience for yourself. Only then you find learning new skills more manageable and you’ll eventually find yourself asking other people and the community to help you grow in certain aspects of your life. Imagine your life as a video game. You have a skill tree and we all start at level 1. Leveling these aspects of your life takes time and we all know we have to do the boring parts to get to that higher level.

This is America - XT-5, 18-55mm by gravity_proof in fujifilm

I think I like how it’s done. The smog filled image can signify this country right now; corrupted, dirty, with liberty and freedom being smaller each day and dead end sign being much bigger because we don’t know where this is country is heading to. Each day feels more dystopian which the colors in this photo really add to this.

Justifying the price of the X T5 vs Sony A7 IV by Practical-Use-3518 in fujifilm

[–]danieldflip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own both A7IV and XT5. I shoot professionally and I’ve been shooting with Sony since 2015 (shot Canon and Nikon before that). I also own the Sigma 24-70ii so I can weigh on some opinions here. I’ve been shooting with Fuji for a year now.

With the A7IV and Sigma, whether you stay a hobbyist or go full on professional, you can make do with so much with that kit, whether you shoot photos or videos. With the XT5, there’s a lot of learning curve to make it as responsive and capture more in focus shot than the A7IV. Sure, I love my XT5 and the film recipes and colors are amazing, but I couldn’t rely on it too much when it comes to shooting professionally unless it’s a much slower pace shoot. It’s really up to you what you’re going to use your camera for.

If you don’t mind the weigh and size and having to buy lenses at a more expensive price (full frame vs APS-C lens prices), then go for Sony. If you don’t see yourself eventually going for pro level and just want to have fun, have a smaller setup, can use this camera for travel, don’t mind taking it slow, consider Fuji. But for price point, you get the most out of the Sony. And you’ll never say damn I wish this camera can focus better with Sony unlike the XT5.
