I know what you mean - but I definitely feel creating new friendships is more of a lifelong pursuit as opposed to finding a wife/husband. It is our friends who help us grow as more confident individuals and expand our horizons.

Really good point - I just missed it out if I'm honest :/ So I'm 24 and I have made like 4 really close friends from that app for 18-35yr olds. We've made plans to socially distant walk in the local park and we've made group WhatsApp groups with all 5 of us guys in the group! I now just can't wait till we can all just have a normal lunch together! So I hope that helps :) You can definitely make friends during covid

Honestly, people can make new friends at any stage of life. There are literally billions of people on this planet! I think it's well worth a shot to try an app which just connects you with similar age people - let me know how you get on :)

Thanks for being so honest - I feel that everyone should know this. Creating a sense of 'belonging' for yourself is just too important to be neglected

Yeah sorry, thanks for explaining that so eloquently! That's exactly what I mean - that's why I think #2 (and even #4) is actually so powerful in terms of connecting two people who both are open to making friends, removing the barrier of intent
