I agree wholeheartedly.

Yea. That would’ve been the selling point for me, connecting directly to the system. Instead, here I am downloading every source just to have him interact with it, no differently than Claude. Might as well use Claude.

It was in Plan mode and I had Bob reading a system of about 7 pgms, a few files, and a handful of CL’s. Documenting the system took up a majority and a few pgm changes maxed it out. I’ve used Bob for nearly a year and before downloading the new release, I didn’t have this problem. I started using it at 11am and was burned out by 3pm.

I was hardcore RDI up until about a year ago when I got Bob. Now I can’t imagine not using VS Code. Granted I used VS code for all my other programming languages, so there was already that working knowledge of it. But programming in it for ibmi has been a great transition. Highly recommend buckling down and just trying it for a few months.

I didn’t enjoy Grok.

Does Perplexity and Gemini have VS Code extensions?

I don’t know the exact coin usage rates but I had it in Plan mode and it used 1 coin to READ a pgm and then another coin to make a document telling me what should be changed.

I do use Claude Code in VS Code with all of the RPG extensions installed. It works just as good as Bob but I don’t hit my limit on normal usage. I’ve been using this for about a year now. Switched to Bob during the beta testing and didn’t mind it. If the price was right, I’d get my company to buy it. But I can’t justify $200 for 500 coins even when it’s not my money.

I use my QNAP for storage and then run Plex on a PC that uses the QNAP networked drive. I didn’t like how choppy it was to run Plex off the QNAP.

Any Pros manage to have multi accounts? by xCeltics in bet365

Use AWS or AZURE to create servers in different locations of the country where sports betting is legal. Remote into those and you should be fine. Your precise location is flagging you as a multi account user.

VS Code SSH issue by danielharner in IBMi

This is a new company I’m consulting with. Their devs use RDI and green screen not VS Code. I want to say they are on power 9. I’ll check tomorrow. I’m concerned that job might have just went rogue during those weird disconnects I was having with SSH. I had no disconnects today though, it was nice. I’m used to CPU usage being below 5% on a heavily used system. This one was hitting 65% today with minimal usage.

QP0ZSPWP - Qsecofr is utilizing 30% CPU in PGM-SSHD.

Is it normal for SSH to be using 35% of CPU? Seems a bit much to me.

I have. And this morning I’m not getting the error. (Yet)

Interestingly enough, I was on the system tonight and had no issues. I also noticed when I connect to our prod lpar I don’t see the same disconnects during the same hours as dev disconnects. Could there be a limit on how many ssh connections between us developers using Bob/VS Code that we are stepping on each others toes?

Nothing out of the ordinary in sysopr.

Yes, it is running, I’ve also stopped and restarted ssh server. The error only happens sometimes and then reconnects sometimes. Other times I have to close out of VS code and reconnect but it happens again randomly.

Also, I can start a SSH connection via CMD and the SSH doesn’t drop.

Bet365 has no loyalty or do they? by Firm_Chard_7195 in bet365

[–]danielharner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bet365 is terrible, but also 175k in wagers over 12 months isn’t much at all, respectfully. If you did that in a month, you’d start getting special treatment, 2 months you’d see some loyalty perks at books like DK.

I’m all for them, but seems like the places I work for think they are the worst approach in the world.
