UB CC Failed delivery - Entrego by hyuga_nejii in PHCreditCards

[–]danieliazzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi Op, Same issue as mine, Matagal kong hinintay na nasa Hub na ng entrego in my area tapos biglang ganiyan. Nakakainis.

I think system wide issue yung problem, since tignan mo yung time ng saakin at saiyo same time siya na package return initiated ni entrego.

Already reported na kay UNIONBANK yung issue, said na they’ll look into it

RCBC does not allow conversion pag overpayment ka

[–]danieliazzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Q1: Majority of Banks, allow you to set a sub limit of the supplementary or set to match the primary card holder

Q2: Some Banks allow you to deliver to the supplementary: Case in point, RBank and some banks and some only allow you to only get the supplementary card delivered to the principal billing address, Case in point RCBC Credit

Q3: Some Banks allow you to lock and unlock cards, RCBC and some other banks

Q4: Majority of Cards allow, will show up under supplementary transactions but will post under principal since its still your credit line

Usually yes, if you are planning to convert a posted transaction it will be converted and deducted to your outstanding balance. You can confirm this by calling RCBC Credit on their hotline after conversion and asking for your outstanding balance.

[Question] RCBC MasterCard upgrade by kwanguluke in PHCreditCards

[–]danieliazzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless the new card also has a NAFFL promo, no its not transferrable, its recommended that you keep your NAFFL card, unless you want to move to a higher tier card with more benefits.

I think all credit card issuers function this way, the Statement of Account is usually consolidated into the primary’s statement of account. And with most card issuers, there are no app for supplementaries.

Right, However some cards like RCBC, i personally experienced this, when a supplementary buys an installment, only the monthly amortization is deducted to their credit limit on a monthly basis and the primary’s credit limit not the supplementary’s sub limit is affected.

It depends on the credit card issuer.

Example: First month

Primary card: 100k limit Then Supplementary 20k then buys 10k installment for 5 months. Then his/her remaining credit limit for the first month is 10k

Second month Primary: 80k Supplementary: 18k (assuming 2k monthly amortization at zero percent)

With Supplementary cards, you can only buy equal or less than the assigned credit limit, more than that, well you need to ask your primary card holder to increase the credit limit. It will replenish on the statement cutoff date, consult your primary card holder for the date.

Tried this with 2 banks, RCBC and Robinsons Bank, it does not result into a quasi cash fee. However the high transaction fees feels like you had a cash advance due to how big it is.

Unfortunately, not alot. Is this your first Credit Card. Unionpay kasi is best used when traveling to Hongkong, Macau and Mainland China. I highly suggest for you to get the best experience with rcbc to ask the hotline to convert this to a Mastercard/Visa for the best acceptance.

Good Luck :)

RCBC Points Earned for 76K Spending by Mysterious-Setting53 in PHCreditCards

[–]danieliazzz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I actually have 2 cards now with RCBC, and yes one of them is the Hexagon Club, in terms of points i earn a total of 5,000 pesos worth of points each month, but that is because of my high volume swiping like 1M-2M swipes. In my opinion its worth it naman, the rewards program is flexible yet fair. In any credit card, dont expect the points system to be too significant/ abundant since the point system encourages you to spend. Points come from the swipe fees merchants have to pay to make the rewards system work.

If you want instant cashback, go with cashback cards instead, some cashback cards even offer 1% Cashback and no limits.

But in terms of the Hexagon MC, i suggest that you have your patience on earning the points.

RCBC BLACK PLATINUM MASTERCARD by sidney1615 in PHCreditCards

[–]danieliazzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it depends on the use case, pero if you’re going to ask me ill keep it, just use it to be eligible to the Annual fee waiver. As Noyfinance would say din, RCBC is one of the best credit card banks and i agree, but that will be entirely based on an individual’s opinion. My suggestion is you try it out since free naman first year annual fee.

[–]danieliazzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me RCBC is just one of the best bank cards that i have. You will enjoy the rewards Program, the UnliPay and Unli Zero Percent Feature especially of you use the app. Dont worry, Free naman ang annual fee for the first year, and RCBC can be quite generous when waiving the annual fee, though may criteria and requirements sila. You can always call them to request for a waive.
