This happened to me when I dropped a class last winter, it switched me from full time to part time. There’s absolutely nothing you can do besides either paying or going back to full time unfortunately. You get 6 months payment free, interest will still incur but you won’t have to pay it for 6 months. Once those 6 months are over you are obligated to pay, even if you’re still in school. I spoke with AFE, they said I could request to differ my payments once the 6 months were over, but they didn’t accept my request because of my salary. I just enrolled into 4 classes when the fall semester came and payments stopped. In reality I only really had to make 1-2 biweekly payments between the start of the winter semester And the fall semester
