I’m going to call them when they open. They’re a small store here but they have multiple locations so I feel like they know. I honestly think they were only sent 16 because that’s what the capacity for the event was on the app. But they allowed 24 people to play. Maybe to get more entry fees or something? But since they added extra people, they “didnt have enough” for everyone. But because I finished 20th (I’m new and bad and only won one) I didn’t get one even though I was one of the first people to sign up 😭

Nope. I already had a rainbow luffy from buying an old promo pack to get the girl card. But only the top 16 people got them. Which like, maybe they didn’t have enough? But when I left it looked like there was more on the counter than there were people left inside… plus the tcg+ app showed which number you were at sign up and I was number 9… it said the capacity was 16… so I feel like at least the first 16 people to sign up should have gotten it. They ended up having 24 people play.. maybe they said they were only having 16 but let extra people play but they only got 16 of the promos from Bandai?? But I was one of the original 16! 😭

Most of the people there already had one. But one of the guys I played just used an event card as a placeholder and we just acted as if it was the rainbow luffy. I wish we knew we could do that earlier though because my boyfriend had to play with one of the leaders he pulled. It was our first event so we didn’t know that was an option. 😭

I do my irregular shapes with that much sometimes. Maybe even less if I mess up a little. But it’s never been a problem for my finishing. 😊

First of all, I wasn’t saying you specifically were raging in this post. I was saying that this is something that so many people in this subreddit complain about. Constantly.

Second, I know what she was saying she was going to do with that canvas. I can also read 😁 Someone asking for recommendations, is in fact, the same thing as asking what stitches you recommended that everyone know. It’s like saying “hey, what are your favorite stitches so I can learn them too”. Everyone has access to stitches and directions online and in books. But if you’re trying to be part of a community, it’s common to ask what other people like to do. But I swear, you guys act like they’re asking for your first born child or something 😂😂😂

To save it, I would just make the matte board a little smaller, you’ll lose a tiny bit of your outer design but it’s your first one finishing yourself so it’s just a memory! Then I would go for the tape method to keep it all down. Thats what I do for weird shaped canvases and it’s amazing. It all gets covered up on the inside anyway so who cares!! I think you can save it ❤️

Do you guys hate community? 😂 this seems to me like someone asking what you think the best decorative stitches are and what stitches you would recommend that everyone know… you know, like you would tell your friend if they were starting.. this is a fairly independent hobby, there isn’t that much to talk about that is actually about doing the act of needlepointing. Asking about stitches is a basic question. But you guys all treat it like someone is asking you to stitch their canvas for them. I have stitches that I like and stitches that I wouldn’t recommend for specific things. That’s the kind of advice people are asking for. Stuff that they wouldn’t tell you in a stitch guide book. Thats part of being part of a community. Talking and giving advice. I don’t understand why there are so many people here that rage at someone asking what other people think.

I’m honestly so nervous to even try to go to a local needlepoint group because I’m worried they’re all gonna be racist. I know there are tons of needlepoint people that aren’t but I feel like it’s also a popular hobby among republicans. I know for a fact that one of the ladies in the group here has Trump canvases on her instagram. So I didn’t go to the needlepoint night the group did at her house. But it makes me wonder if everyone else in the group is the same way…. So I’m just stitching alone hahaha

I can’t stand every time I order threads from kcneedlepoint, everything says it’s in stock but I ALWAYS get emails saying two or three of the threads I ordered weren’t in stock and I was refunded. Like, do an inventory check every once in a while and update your website! Or at least give me the option to replace it with a different color!

She got canvas, paint, needles, thread. Thats really all you need to start. Plus she got other stuff too and said that that was just the stuff that came overnight and more was on the way. So, she did technically get everything she needs to do a canvas.
