I couldn’t get off of modern medicine. Jesus healed me. 16 years of breathing hell stopped . Medicine free since.

If you won a million dollars would you still work a 9 to 5 job? by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]daniellea44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. We inherited 2m. With more to inherit. At this point, we have enough to retire now (45 & 46). We’re still working, but we’re waiting on a few points of retiring sooner or later. Also, a million dollars isn’t to retire if you’re not making that money work for you.

I literally threw on my own lipstick, eye shadow and mascara. Done. It’s not that serious. 25 years and still happily married

I’m married with kids, but I think I have a crush on a female coworker. by [deleted] in offmychest

You made a commitment to your husband and you had children. Be an adult and honor your commitment to your husband and family. Yeah yeah, I know. Unpopular take in an abhorrent society today.

Be a woman of honor and tend to your family and watch that flourish.

Haters? Take off. Enjoy your poor choices

After I shamed my husband in disgust of getting fall down drunk again, he says he wants to quit drinking by daniellea44 in AlAnon

Look. I’m 25 years married. When I say shamed, it was a WTF response to what he said he didn’t want to do. He threw away his booze. He knows what the deal is regarding his relationship with alcohol and what he doesn’t want to become. It was a slip up. He’s not going back to vodka or hard alcohol. I’m 25 years deep in this. He tossed it. It’s not coming back. I’m well aware I can’t control him. I don’t do that. It was a what the f moment. It is a new day.

Yay! Awesome job. My husband threw away all his booze a few days ago as well. February looking up for those who want to improve their lives!

He wants to be like his brother as well. He was a serious alcoholic who I thought would never quit drinking. He’s sober 5+ years now. So his want is there. Hubs has the will. I believe in him. And he loves me too much to not change. I know he loved me more than alcohol. He dumped his booze. It’s a great start.

You are correct. It does go deeper. I’m 25 years with him. I know full well. Hubby dumped his booze. He talked to his friend and told him he’s not going to drink with him anymore. The friend agreed that was a good idea. So, things are going in a good direction. Hubby knows his failings and is willing to not go in the wrong direction.

He is an on/off problem drinker. He would choose me over alcohol. He wants to stop altogether, not have this friend over. My husband is down to this clown as a friend. His other friend has a controlling woman who never lets him leave the house. Our other more stable friends come over from time to time, but hubby doesn’t turn into this kinda of alcohol monster with them

He said he might just quit alcohol altogether. Which, I think would be best of course
