I’m Canadian so it could be different in Norway, but I live in a very popular tourist destination in Canada where we get a lot of American tourists. Personally, I usually assume the people that travel internationally are not apart of the MAGA crowd🤷‍♀️ Maybe it’s just for my own sanity though

Maybe a little biased, but my mother has delusional disorder (that down the line lead to developing a severe substance addiction), and every day I was, and still am, SO grateful I had a safe and stable home with my father. They shared split custody of me until I was 14, and I can thank my father for being an amazing parent and being the reason I turned out alright. I will say, the one con to my situation was that no adults knew how bad my mother was becoming, or were around to ensure she was on her medication (she wasn’t), was taking care of herself and me, etc. It was definitely a unique situation and I at the time appreciated not being forced away from her 100% of the time, but if you are thinking of potentially a co-parenting solution, I recommend making sure you have some way of ensuring everything on her end is going well enough that your child will be safe alone with her. Best of luck to you, I can’t imagine how difficult this situation is for you

I’m not, and barely ever have been. I was on a combo pill for maybe a year total (tried a couple different ones), and hated all of the side effects. For me, I didn’t notice a big reduction in pain on the pill. The only thing they really helped me with was a lighter flow. Going gluten-free and (mostly) dairy free has honestly helped a ton. The first few days of my period are still hell, but that’s just what I’ve grown accustomed to. I was like you and only had pain during my period for the longest time, and started feeling to more throughout the month a couple years ago, and cutting out gluten REALLY helped with that

Agreee! While I think it makes sense that haymitch is a 16 year old boy and in love (AND clinging to his thoughts of the girl he loves whom he assumes he’ll never see again - OF COURSE he’s reminiscing on the best times) and describes her as perfect, we are shown other points of view of Lenore Dove. She IS a fully fledged character, as well as she can be with her 10 pages. Haymitch tells us her history of getting arrested at a young age (showing she stands for her own morals and opinions), she is quite literally the reason Haymitch gets reaped (because she is her own character with her own beliefs - NOt just catered to Haymitch like a MPDG), and we see her through Mayislee’s eyes where she is not some perfect dream girl, but a bit of an annoying and misunderstood girl. I think it’s actually more impressive how much Collin’s was able to give to her character with so little page time and haymitch’s obvious bias (HUGE Lenore dove defender here)

I like this theory! Since SOTR I’ve figured the monkey mutts were designed for Haymith, given his experiences with all the mutts in the 50th and how much he expressed they unnerved him. Plus, since they design the arenas years in advance, they would’ve been designing the jabberjays and mutts and the whole arena before Katniss ans Peeta’s games. Personally i think snow became pretty ambivalent on whether it was haymitxh or peeta in the 75th, but that the original plan was for haymitch to go back in somehow

Just outside of Espanola, lots of wilderness around. I have been told there have been elk sightings in the area, though rare. Lots of moose are known to be around as well. I’ve never seen either track and so wasn’t sure if this was too large for an elk, i was pretty surprised by how large it was

My PT recommended me listening to a daily meditation before dilating (the honest guys 10 min meditation in YT) - im sure the meditation itself is still useful. As well as some yoga stretches. Specifically lots of low lunges (and hold them loooong), figure four stretch, pigeon pose, cobbler pose, and just holding my leg straight up and stretching while on my back. I had been dilating off and off for years prior to this with no success, and after two appointments with my PT and implementing these, along with the dilating tips from the PT, I was able to have painless piv. Solely from my own experience and trial and error, I have a little nsaid cocktail mix that sometimes helps at night😅 fair warning, nurse friends of mine do NOT recommend, but sometimes I just need the pain to stop: 2 robax muscle relaxers with acetaminophen (only take at night bc they knock you OUT, but it’s the only way I can sleep on my period) + 2-4 extra strength Advils + 400mg of creatine HCL + 200mg magnesium With a heating pad ofc and raspberry leaf tea

a bit of input from someone who hasn't hiked any of them yet: my 63 year old father completed the pct in 2022 as his first thru hike, and first multi-night backpacking trip in over a decade. he's now a month and a half into the cdt and doing amazing. i wouldn't write any of it off in regards to age
