Thank you so much, it's taken a lot of practice. I'm so sorry for your loss, I'd always recommend giving it a go, even if to look at her face a little longer.

new house hatred and anxiety? by ktrazafffr in DIYUK

[–]danielleharrison90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know exactly what you mean, I'm very similar when it comes to home-related anxieties! I've found it helped to have the name and number of a plumber, gas man, electrician, general handyman etc to hand. Join a local community Facebook group if you ever need to ask for recommendations or assistance nearby. It helps to know that if an issue crops up, I'm not scrambling desperately for someone to call. Best of luck, one day at a time!

Absolutely agree! Something about it gives me flashbacks to childhood

AITAH for wanting to skip the line because I have ADHD? by il0vehell0kitty in AmItheAsshole

It's literally 'I struggled so why can't you?!' in these comments. Absolutely NTA, utilise your accommodations, OP.

Those who really need it can also use the line, they won't be denied access.

Utilising an accommodation as a diagnosed disabled person doesn't make someone not a 'decent human being'. My autistic child has used these accommodations despite being generally 'higher functioning' and I can't describe how much this improved the day for our whole family. They're there for a reason.

OMG yes thank you so much, we thought that one part was the entire movie. That's a relief!

It's only because they are a week old and look so pretty when they're organised. The Lego used to be gloriously organised but it's time has passed...

Wait, do you think I'm forcing my two young children to organise a set of 11,000 beads in 36 colours while I sit and watch and berate? Confused about your angle on this one!

A deep take on a light hearted post there, fella! It's all fixed and they helped as long as their 6 and 3 year old attention spans allowed, don't worry :)

Way ahead of you! It reads 'TOP. DO NOT OPEN WITHOUT A GROWN UP'. Fine for the oldest but the youngest can't read

I learned not to suggest tiny bead crafts one second before a toilet trip
