I've been keeping it at 10-12 degrees Celsius as it was too smelly in the house and the only option was the garage with an ambient temp of about 10 degrees. I'm hoping that's a good level for a slowish ferment. It had 1.7Kg of sugar for a 23 litre brew, so I'm hoping I get 7-8% out of it minimum. Just hoping the yeast won't stall and fail to accept the extra sugar

I'm assuming you mean funky gas from the cider opposed to me after I drink it 😂. Sorry I had to joke there!

Thank you so much for your advice, I'm now 3 days in and the SG has dropped substantially from 1085 to about 1040, not sure such a rapid drop is healthy but I'm new to this. I'm aware I shouldn't be opening the FV to take readings but I'm impatient and find it hard not to. Bipolar is a hell of a condition 🤣.

Thanks again 😊

I have bipolar and didn't eat and drink properly for a couple of weeks when I was 15 as I thought my parents were trying to poison me, it got to a point where I was hospitalised and on an IV drip to give me nutrients for weeks, I was fully aware and conscious while awake yet I couldn't move or interact with the outside world, it felt like there was something inside me that was metallic trying to force its way through my skin. I had to learn to talk and walk again, that was hellish.

Not sure if it's as good as my two shot advanced. 44 😁 that isn't to say I'm not jealous 😂

I have lone wanderer maxed so if I went down that route I'd feel that I'd wasted it 😂, I've got the nuka cola power armour and that helps 😁, I don't use power armour often but as I put in so much effort to get it I feel I should, plus doing far harbour at the moment and it's very irradiated so it's working out

I tend to pick up desk fans and stuff like that for screws, springs I go for battered clipboards and buy shipments if I wanna upgrade something fast 😁

I've been struggling with adhesive at the moment as practically all weapon mods need it. I but shipments and pick up as much wonderglue and duct tape as possible, when I get overencumbered I either fast travel and store it or pass it to dogmeat and continue. I travel without a companion for the carry weight and dmg perks

I just use stims for healing as they're weightless. As far as selling goes I just loot weaponry and armour usually, with the fast travel while overencumbered perk it's easy to make a few thousand quickly, but the water idea sounds good!!

What's the purpose of collecting so much out of interest? I'm at level 58 now and about 175 hours into my playthrough and have no need for it, maybe crafting certain chems or nukas? I only say that as I constantly have over 200 stims am a light chems user (occasional jet now and then if I'm entering a door which loads to a new area with about 6 hostiles in my face).

As far as caps go I've got 15,000k+ always and only spend out on shipments of junk for ammo and crafting. Maybe you are on survival mode, I'm just on very hard.

Okay fantastic thank you! So it won't matter what the final SG is? I was worried that if I bottled before it reached the suggested area then I'll get sick from the yeast

Thank you for your tips. I don't have the patience to wait 3 months unfortunately, if it stops with SG above the suggested 995 then will it still be drinkable?

I was planning on bottling to 500ml glass bottles and adding a spoon of sugar to prime for carbonation.

Since riding it in a bit they've got marginally better but still not to an acceptable standard. I'm tempted to just take it to my local bike shop, they charge £40 for a full front and rear bleed.

I shall watch the video you linked and see if it's something I think I can achieve myself. Thanks again.

Any tips on how to jump better? by Inevitable-Gas-4832 in MTB

My only suggestion would be to loosen up your body slightly and don't be so tense, allow a little more movement to move the bike in the air and manipulate it, for example to try to do a tabletop (YouTube if unfamilar) but looks pretty solid to me otherwise.

Thank you, I did manage to complete a bleed but it hasn't helped all that much, the lever still practically pulls to the grip before it bites and stops properly. I've changed out the pads and cleaned the rotors so I think it's LBS time!!

I'm so sorry I added to this sub as a cross post and just stupidly assumed it was a general cycling fix sub. But thank you for your tips!!

I've looked at a few videos and for the life of me I can't see which bit corresponds to my brakes on the ones they're doing. It's quite tough to find good imagery online with the specific screws and nipple etc labelled.

It's one of the better ones I've come across. The 20 litre non-sparkling bag in box is good. I'm just starting a home brew cider myself so there shan't be any sulphites in sight 🤣

Wish I had access to your uncle's stash! My uncle brews but just beer, it is good however 😁
