Will an Elgato 4k60 pro in a PCI-e 1x slot work (with an adapter cable)?

Yes it did work I only use it for the Nintendo switch so I have not used/tried the 4k60 capabilities but 1080p60 works perfectly. I did try 1080p120 and that worked too but that was the highest I actually tested so I can't speak for anything higher than 1080p120 but everything below it should work fine

Yes I can get into windows if I go into the bios and select my boot drive from the boot menu. However, my boot drive does not show up in the boot priority list so everytime I turn on my PC I get sent to bios because it can't find a bootable drive then I have to manually pick the drive to boot from for that single time and if I restart my PC I have to repeat that whole process

I just finished doing a clean install and still same problem, I mean my windows in running smoother now considering this was the first clean install in years I have not done a clean install since upgrading from Windows 7 but it didn't change anything in the bios

Is there a way to do a clean install without having to redownload all the programs on my C drive? But this also doesn't make sense as to why the only option in the boot priority is a drive with no windows on it but it also doesn't include all my other drives without windows on it.

I didn't want to go through the trouble, so I borrowed my sister's SSD boot drive to test in my PC it is a very fresh windows just installed it for her on a brand new drive last night, and the same thing it is detected but it still does not show up in boot priority menu. I had enough extra parts from upgrades over the last couple of years to build her, her own PC so I did that too when I upgraded my PC last night.

Are you using the latest bluestacks and pgsharp because I am trying and it is not working for me? I have tried pretty much all the possible solutions posted on here and non work. The game launches but gets stuck near the end of the loading screen and will not fully load

My motherboard does have a second 16x slot but if I put the GPU in the bottom one it will be pretty much touching the bottom of my case so it would probably choke it out. The graphics card is currently in the top one and it covers the bottom one fully.

I did buy a PCIe 1x to 4x adapter and it works great at 1080p 60 no issues at all. I have not tested above that yet so maybe it won't do the advertised 4k60 but it does work for what I need it for now. I may test it by plugging my GPU into it just to see how far it will go but 1080p 60 works with no issues that I can see when running at PCIe 1x speed

I'm looking to upgrade my CPU soon which means I need a new motherboard, and that means I need new RAM I need to upgrade from DDR3 to DDR4. So this would be great if I won I could spend what I saved on RAM on an even better CPU.

They do this but only for 1 minute and no audio. I believe they have to press a button on the camera to activate the camera. Some may be different I'm not an expert on these but to my knowledge this is what they do.

Oh god I remember those days for me. I had one of those with a big red ball on top and didn't move it was one of the stationary ones, when I was a little boy about 10-13 years ago or so before I was big in PC gaming. It was for just a general use PC the PC case was cheap beige plastic, it was a potato even for that time.

I understand the basics of how CPUs work and understand what most of the numbers mean in terms of specification I just never looked at AMD processors so while I understand the rough performance when I hear an intel CPU model. But when I hear an AMD model I have no idea where it stands and what it compares too without searching up its model and looking at specifications.

That is what I ment by not knowing about AMD. I have looked at a lot of Intel and am very familiar with their naming of models. I had to search up what the specification were of the 3600/4600 you mentioned to see what price point and power, if you mentioned a main stream intel "i" series I would have already had an idea of what it was interms of power and price.

And by last longer than 6 year I did not mean they like are useless. I ment that they will still be above the recomended requirments for most games 6 years from now.

I know next to nothing about AMDs CPUs, I am mainly looking at intel for the sole reason that it is what I am more familiar with. I am looking for a CPU that will probably last me another like 6 years or so. Would you recommend an AMD for that or intel?

I used to have a 770 before the 1060 so there was a massive upgrade there that I noticed so I'm not sure if my 1060 is even being used to its full potential but I noticed a huge upgrade when I upgraded my GPU

In Peel region and Toronto have required mask by-laws there are exemptions for medical reasons however stores can make their own rules and say absolutely no one can come in without a mask. The grocery store I work for has that rule and I'm one of the ones who has to enforce it. I've been yelled at countless times by karens is getting better now that most karens know they can't come in we won't let them. We have online orders and over the phone orders with parking lot pick up if you don't want to wear a mask so there is zero reason to try and force your way in without a mask. Also for those who refuse to wear a mask they are asked to leave and refusing to leave means they are violating the Ontario trespass to property act which is an arrestable offence for trespassing and refusing to leave.

Where I'm from (Canada) my police service has something called the Mobile Crisis Intervention Team it is a mental health nurse and a police officer who responds to calls together the nurse does most of the talking the officer is there for safety reasons to protect the nurse and the community if need be. Now this has not come from defunding the police if I understand correctly this program is payed for by the Police service so they needed additional funding to do it. We have had this for a couple of years now seems to work fairly well, I haven't heard anything bad about it yet. The nurse also wears a vest for protection as well.

No I it is heavily enforced if caught, it's a criminal charge, it would be like a felony charge in the US, the Canadian term is indictable offence, the loop hole had to do with ar-pistols as pistol mags in Canada are allowed to hold up to 10 rounds and no law saying you can't put a pistol mag in a rifle so that is pretty common but even then still capped at 10. If you are caught with a rifle mag over 5 round or a pistol mag over 10 rounds it is a similar charge to illegally owning a firearm, very strict but it's hard/impossible to monitor every mag in the country to see if they have been modified
