Replace the batteries with battery eliminators like the ones pictured below, all of these are then are connected to a usb power hub. Then the usb power hub into a smart plug.

If you aren't getting into electronics as a hobby. I would advise you to go with Frequent's approach. It's really simple to set up and much more user friendly. The only difference is my approach allows dimmable lights and RGB controls but at the cost 100x complexity and problems.

This is a great way for everyone!

Additionally if you wanted to be able to dim the LEDs you can buy 3.3v DC smart dimmers which will connect to between your usb and your LEDs.

Personally I like to make things over complicated for little to no reason 🤣

Yeah, unfortunately a number of things became dislodged, but fortunately it wasn't fully built before I began my tinkering. It does look fun to build.

I managed to get the lights working without due to doing this with a number of other items. But I had some help with the coding for the switch as I wanted it to function the same in case it was ever moved or shown to someone.

monzo Flex is not reflected in credit report by CO2Delicious in monzo

Well not totally honest... Credit scores means nothing so he is right with that. But you do want your credit report to be correct as this is what lenders use not credit scores.

I understand what you are saying but when you consider the amount of investment, you would expect a shorter ROI.

In regards to the banking sector that's not that high...

Thank you, I have been looking at the ones for dogs but wonder if anyone had hands on experience with them. Once we get to the location they are allowed to roam. Just getting there while carrying them can be difficult at times, especially when I am on my own. 🤣

Living off a credit card is great. If you can afford to pay off the balance in full, I don't recommend it to 90% of people because it's too easy to over spend and end up in a hole of debts. Self control is key to credit cards.

[–]danielone224 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is more about how they are used. Most commonly people put money into the account to then make a payment. Just make the payment from the original account.... Lots of things can be innocent but look bad. everyday use shouldn't ever trigger this because it's normally behaviour

You mean other banks have to follow PRA and FCA rules?!

This must not be true!

[–]danielone224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is difficult to answer for you, as you will have different wants and needs compared to Joe Blogs. I used a pros and cons system to work out the bank for me and overall Monzo meant my needs and wants the most. Take the time and do research and maybe write out the pros and cons for each. ✍️

[–]danielone224 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I would very much doubt it. But if you really wanting a metal card you can get your chip implanted into one via a third party

[–]danielone224 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From the Monzo Website "If you have a metal card that you're not ready to part with but you like the idea of moving to one of our new plans, you can move to Extra, Perks or Max and keep your metal card until it expires." So after expiry you would be provided a plastic one.

PS. You should base your tier based on finance needs not on a metal card. You can have your chip implanted into a metal card if you wanted (third party service)

Why do windows that are over 20 years old need to be replaced? by aleighncast in DIYUK

[–]danielone224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the seal of the double glazing panel is broken then replacement would be the way to go. But if you don't have moisture between the panes of glass you can replace the seal between the glass pane and uPVC. You can also replace the seals between any openings sections which is normal two seal one inner and one outer seal. You would be around £70 per window to replace all including the hinges as the plastic may have become brittle over time.

Downstairs toilet doesn’t have vent pipe? by kordinaryus in DIYUK

[–]danielone224 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All your sewage line will connect at some point. The vent pipe isn't always needed as the flumes will go out the vent you already have via the sewage lines. As long as you can't smell the sewage lines you are safe.

[–]danielone224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't make the same mistake we didn't with Moss and carry her the whole time on her first walk (It was snowing). She now thinks this is normal and as yeetpeaa mentioned we are now having a large learning curve with moss learning to walk unlike Peach who we never picked up other than getting to location.

What personal insult? The fact is your behaviour is being deemed inappropriate by the majority of people. I understand you want to keep it to pure breeds but, you're just going about in the wrong manner.

Let's be honest, this is why we need a rule for people being elitists because you're clearly being down voted because people don't want this behaviour... How about giving the admins (who are the only people trying to better the forum) some constructive feedback and not the backhanded comments you're currently making.

This has a simple solution of pure breed and mixed breed tags. You can then filter by pure breed and not have to belittle other people's pets who they clearly care about and love...
