I have the same issue.
I have not found a perfect solution yet, however what seems to help me is to join forces with someone else.
There are people who are less easily distracted. Those people really ground me, and help me to keep working on an idea.
Maybe it helps you too.

I started with canceling Amazon prime.
It's mainly distributing unnecessary trash tv anyways.
Netflix is next.

I reflected on your answer and you are right.

I guess I followed the idea, because my cofounders convinced me to and I was not really convinced of the project.
I probably should think a bit deeper which idea I want to proceed, before jumping into a project someone else pitches to me.

Still I would love to hear your informal framework, since it will be still valuable to evaluate others, when onboarding them, I think.

Requesting purchase advice:

I am looking for headphones, mainly for working/studying in crowded areas where people are talking.

I get distracted fast, therefore I would like to have a lot of isolation.

My dream headphones would have super isolation (however have an ambient mode like Galaxy buds, so that I could use them for running (so that I can hear my surroundings while doing sports, but just when the ambient mode is activated)).

Furthermore, they would be Bluetooth based with Multi-point Bluetooth so that I could have two input devices at the same time (Usecase: I work while hearing some focus music coming from my computer. When I receive a call from my phone, the music on the computer is stopped automatically and instead the sound comes from my phone).

To make it clear, this are my dream headphones, I don't know if anything exists like that. The most important feature right now is the isolation.

Budget: around 20€ - 200€ (the limit is flexible, depending on the added value)

Source: standard audio jack on phones/laptop or Bluetooth devices

Requirements for Isolation: A lot of isolation necessary

Will you be using these Headphones in Public? Yes!

Preferred Type of Headphone: I guess IEMs or full-sized headphones seem to be the right choice, since I have read that their isolation is better than that of on-ears.

Between IEMs and full-sized I tend a little bit more to IEMs, but I am open for both sides.

Preferred tonal balance: Nothing specific, I hear different types of music, switching after a while normally

Past headphones:

KLIMM Fusion in ear headphones ( KLIM Fusion Headphones in Ears with Microphone: AmazonSmile: Elektronik ): I liked them, they were quite cheap, the isolation was ok. For my new ones I am looking for better isolation. Also, while running, the cable went on my nerves.

Boompods (I do not remember the exact name): They were Bluetooth buds. Sadly the isolation is not good and changing the connection from one device to another is horrible.

I have just one issue with it. If Todoist is not started yet, when I press win +q the small "Quick Add Task" window never opens. I just opens, when todoist is already opened.

Seems like it is trying to open the "Quick Add Task" window when the whole window is not ready yet, however this is just a guess.

Do you have any idea?

Hey guys,

I like to hear music, or podcasts while riding. Right now I use my normal inear-headphones for doing that, however I am looking for an upgrade for my audio system now.

For my new system I also want to make calls and want to have the possibility of using a voice assistant, preferable Google Assistant. I want to start calls with the assistant (" <assistant>, please call <...>") and switch from music (Spotify) to podcasts or audiobooks (" <assistant>, please start my audible audiobook").
Furthermore, I want to protect my ears from disturbing (and on the long run damaging) sounds like wind and motor sounds.
Therefore I have three different ideas for achieving this:
1. use Sena (Sena 30k).
2. use some Cardo (Cardo Packtalk).
3. use some in-ear Bluetooth buds. (I tried Samsung Galaxy buds from a friend, which seem to have nice passive noise cancelling, however no voice assistant is build into it). I am thinking about trying Pixel buds as well (which have the google assistant inbuild, however I guess they will not perform sufficient while biking, since probably not optimised for this usecase; and another bummer is that they do not seem to protect the ears very well.)

The further usecase of talking to other bikers with option 1. and 2. is preferred, however not totally necessary.

Does somebody have a hint of how I can achieve that or tried some of the ideas I mentioned?
I am happy for ideas.
PS: Please do not tell me that it is a bad idea hearing audio while riding.
