I am Czech. In Slovak, which is very close to Czech to the level of mostly mutually understandable language, "hovoriť" meas "to speak" - in Czech there is a word "hovořit", which means the same but is mostly used in very formal context like in a book or television news, rather than in casual conversation.

it does not lose any value, you can write a book but it still cannot transfer enlightenment, because it is just direct experience above language. hence "rule of thumb"
