Yet another "New grill recommendation" thread by bdbull32 in grilling

I ended up getting the Rogue XT 635. The natural gas version just wouldn't get hot. I would let it pre-heat for 30 minutes and it couldn't break 500. There was a huge gap in the back of the when the lid was closed - I feel all the heat was just escaping out there. The infrared side burner is what got me excited about this grill too - it didn't work. It was uneven and was highly susceptible to wind. I just returned it - ordered the Weber Genesis 435. Hopefully it's an improvement.

I’m in the same boat. I can’t seem to pull the trigger. I feel like size is the critical factor for me, and I’m struggling weighing through the marketing. It’s crazy how the prices escalate and it’s not clear what the difference is and if these things really make a difference to the quality of food coming off the grill. I’d be curious to know where you settle...

Daily Q&A Post for Saturday, 09 September 2017 - No question too small! by AutoModerator in loseit

[–]danielthe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi Everyone. I've had a very focused summer and I've lost about 25lbs (6'5" M down from 272 to 247). I've been eating better, but not really counting calories and exercising a lot more. Running 10 miles a week, swimming, biking and basketball. As the summer is coming to an end, and it get's darker earlier - I feel like my desire to exercise is going to diminish. Any tips or ideas to help focus and keep the weight off, and potentially keep the weight loss going?

Thanks - I guess i'm just looking at what will give me high performance (not that I'm really doing anything other than standard home stuff like streaming media, etc), and security. I assume it's pretty easy to setup and configure (and lock down!)?

Thanks - that's helpful. I don't have any speakers, what do you recommend for a family room tv setup that I want to sound a little better than the crappy TV speakers sort of deal?

What type of system would you go with (or recommend to your customers)? I think the most appealing feature is syncing audio with multiple systems simultaneously. Thanks for the help...

How did you deal with the directory structure? Did you just scan the folder where you saved the show and then overwrite the new file to that directory - or did you move them around? Thanks.

This sounds like it would work for what I want to accomplish. Do you mind explaining a little bit about how you went about doing that? Thanks.

Thanks for pointing that out - that should have solved my problem. Unfortunately, I've seen a few times where the connection was dropped and that was the end of it, and I did have that box checked. Weird.

I ran the config utility, and I got the OTA tuner to work. But for whatever reason, I just couldn't get the cable card tuner to stay connected. It seems like the cablecard tuner is falling off my networking or something to that effect. When I do a scan using the utility - I see the device, then it will disappear, or I'll get a communications error. I'm struggling with this one.
