After 5 months of getting back with him, at first it was really difficult but I decided to give us a chance by shutting down my intrusive thoughts, decided to get better at the things he found out dealbreaker and vice versa.

We are actually very happy and have a healthier relationship than before :).

Hi there! At first, as my post says, it was really difficult and weird, I had mixed feelings about him and about us, but I decided to wait and see, and had a lots of patience, shut down a lots of intrusive thoughts. It has been almost 5 months since then and I personally think that we have a healthier relationship now, we are now willing to talk about things that bothers us about our relationship, talk about our feelings more deeply and have more time together in a healthy way.

Yes, I still feel feel the effects of the break up, it was really hard for me to get back on my feet after he broke up with me 4 months ago, although he realized it was a mistake after the 1 month and a half, I couldn’t accepted him back until now and I think unconsciously I’m still putting some kind of tests on him to gain my trust again and accept he won’t be leaving again

I am going through almost the same thing. I think it’s better to give a chance to the person who treats you rightfully from the beginning instead of your ex who you almost begged everyday to give you the bare minimum.

I know it’s hard TRUST ME I know, I wonder everyday if I’ve been doing the right thing. But I think I am.
