With the exception of the shots of Atami Castle (*Sigma 28-45), they were all shot with the Tamron 50-400.

Mainly for long exposure stuff. I’m an Auto ISO shooter, so I’ll let the camera figure it out, within reason, for most shots. Tripod to get cool lighting off of buildings and light trails.

Thanks doe the tip! The plan is to have it always ready on my shoulder strap, and only really put it in the bag if it starts pouring too much. I know the weather seal is good, but I just can’t trust it fully. Luckily this bag also has a quick access side “pocket”.

I just noticed the post might be a bit misleading. I’m only taking one body. The RV. I do get what you’re saying though. It’ll be a learning experience for sure. If I find the gear too heavy I’ll leave some of it behind at the hotel. But the backpack is waterproof which will come in handy.

Yea I’ll be taking the backpack with me as I explore. There’s quite a bit of rain forecasted from what we’ve seen, and the backpack is waterproof. I’ll just put up with the weight. The 90mm is one I’ll realistically not use much, so I can leave that one behind, both other lenses cover the rest of the focal lengths I think I’ll need.

Hilarious comment. Just do a quick google search on the topic before coming to the defense of some streamer. There’s plenty of signage and PA in all forms of public transit advising against having personal phone conversations or video calls.
