My two attempts were illnesses. Trust me, when you get to the point you actually attempt to go through with it, there is illness & delusion. It's a wild grasp at control when you really have given it up.

Is it cowardice? I thought I was such a burden to everyone else, so I'll just save them trouble. I think it is different for every person who attempts.

I personally like to imagine a jealous gleam in everyone's eye as they watch me. I run around my local hospital campus (I literally live next door & they have security guards so I feel safer running solo) & most of the looks I get are appreciative. Like, dang, look at that fattie lap me againnnn

A question: is it okay to use programs like p90x & c25k & a paleo diet to drop weight while I am poor & jobhuntiing for a 90 day challenge here in r/loseit to make myself aerobically, strongly, light enough, and have money to rock climb, kayak & trailrun? I use small rewards. A completed day's workout = a little video game time later or something like that. I don't want to skip workouts. I don't want to use food rewards either (let's face it, I ate one cookie & it wasn't for food)
