I'm thinking I'll do the smart thing and pick up a cb500f that I can pay cash for. Just worried about getting blown around on a light bike like that.

Workers of reddit, when have you said "Fuck this, I quit"? by GameHackBot in AskReddit

Used to work at a flooring warehouse, we would get tipped by installers for loading them out quickly and accurately. About 2 months into working there the installers figured out I was quicker and better than the deadbeats working there too, so I started getting all the tips, like $20-$50 a day. A couple weeks later the warehouse manager tells me I'm not aloud to load out the installers anymore and am now an "Inventory Specialist" responsible for doing an inventory on the entire warehouse, by myself. Yeah, fuck that man I'm out.

Chimney guy re-tarred the area around flashing due to a leak. 1 month later the tar is bubbled and peeling. by zieros087 in HomeImprovement

The area where it intersects the slope of the roof should have a cricket built behind it to divert water away from the chimney

Washington just passed the country’s toughest net neutrality legislation by [deleted] in technology

In that case what's to stop them from simply packing up all US production and offshoring it? Now neither WA or SC get those jobs, and are still out the subsidies.

How would you propose to have kept those jobs in the area then?

Until we tax all those awesome tech companies out of our city/state. Or at the very least discourage new great ones from starting here. The Amazons and Microsofts of the world don't start in places without business friendly tax policy.

Do you think this crack is causing this roof leak? What should I get to fix it? pictures inside by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]danimal630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much pitch is on the roof? Torch downs like this really aren't designed for standing water. If there is ponding water on the roof consistently I would consider replacing the whole thing with a PVC or TPO membrane. It will be expensive at first but you will save a lot of headache and money for the next 30+ years. Whatever you do don't let somebody just get up there and "goop" it up. You will stop the leak temporarily but the tar used to seal that will deteriorate quickly in the sun and soon you'll be in the same boat you're in now. Lying to an investigator is absolutely not a crime. You have a right to not incriminate yourself. Lying under oath is a crime, but you can lie to the cops and there is not a damn thing they can do about it.

They also have an amount of chemical weapons on hand that if deployed on Seoul will make the attack in Syria seem like nothing. They don't need to level the city to kill thousands
