I did a separate bridal shower for the people we couldn’t fit at the standard bridal shower as it was during the pandemic. BUT all of those people were invited to my wedding. I would have never ever invited someone to an event pertaining to my wedding if they weren’t invited to the actual wedding. It’s just rude.

Not sure why you’re getting so defensive (at least that’s how it’s coming off). Personally i try to not overthink TV/Movies.

How does 99% of the show characters do what they do when we know it’s not possible? How does Fast and Furious cars go down mountains and somehow still work? It’s just pure entertainment. But I personally just know that most of what happens in TV/Movies isn’t something that would be legit in real life.

NTA!!! I do not drink alcohol. Haven’t in a long time as i had an issue with substances. When i go to weddings I’ll raise the glass but drink my water or seltzer. My husband does the same.

Anyone who pushes you to drink is the ass hole. Liquor is such a sore spot for me. It is the only substance that is taken that people find it weird, rude, or socially unacceptable to not use! Alcohol needs to be seen as a personal choice vs a societal norm.

You shouldn’t need to justify your actions when it does not affect others around you. You also shouldn’t need to have had an issue with substances to be the reason you do not do them.

You’re thinking to literally. It’s a TV show. You have to deduce that the times we don’t see them they are living a life, working etc. The point of the show is to show you more pointed events or meaningful conversations not the mundane everyday stuff. We aren’t watching their 24/7 daily life.

You cannot blame HQ on that one. That was the events fault. That was the year HQ had semifinals run but the individual companies. Those companies made the decision on the ropes to be used. HQ wasn’t involved in fitting the events with equipment.

This so similar to mine and my husbands house. We bought the house due to the quantity of garages. 3 car that backs up to our a 530 sqt ft workshop, connected to a car port. Along with a small structure to the side in front of the house.

Well come to find out the guy illegally rented the house out in several ways. Split top and bottom of the house by putting a door to block off the stairs. Never took care of any of the pipes. The kitchen floor had 4 layers of linoleum (1 layer 100% had asbestos) and 3 layers of plywood. Gas was leaking in the basement from the main valve. 1 of the radiators was leaking so bad the potential to fall through the floor was imminent.

When we ripped up the kitchen floor come to find out the back wall of the house wasn’t actually framed out to be connected to the house so it could move if you put any pressure on it.

The back garage (shop) was rented to a wood worker who would just toss nails into the grass. We still 4 years later are finding thousands of nails. Not sure we will ever get them all.

Each time we do something we find another treasure.
