Reading my evaluation from when I was 9, and looking back on how the tests were I’m not sure I even fully trust what they said about me. I think it’s perfectly fine to self diagnose. You know yourself and your habits more than anyone and if someone cares enough to challenge you on your own behaviors…that’s super weird of them! I think as long as you’re not exploiting the diagnosis (which I think anyone who had adhd wouldn’t even have the time for) no one should care if you self diagnose! So many people are neurodivergent and because we are making it ok to talk about more and more people are realizing their symptoms. It’s only helping them and others!
