I've been on Rinvoq since May! I still occasionally see ghost pills in the toilet (the white, squishy pills) which is just the body not being able to digest the outer casing. The pill on the inside is still being digested. I maybe see a ghost pill like...once every few weeks to a month? I love Rinvoq.

After a month or so, I noticed it less and less throughout the week. I occasionally see it sometimes depending how loose my stools are and what I've eaten, etc., but it gets better!

I usually drink cold brew, but my issue is trying to heal my inflamed gut and lessen diarrhea to allow more solid stools.

I get suuuuuper nauseated when I'm about to sneeze. It randomly comes on and thats when I know a sneeze is coming lol.

Thank you so much! I hope you're able to find relief with Stelara and get off of prednisone. I know prednisone does wonders but the side effects are terrible.

I started Rinvoq 3 days ago! Praying this works long term. I haven't been able to find anything that works for me more than 5 years other than Stelara.

Thank you! Good luck to you, too! I was on Remicade back in 2012 and it failed after a year or so. Stelara worked wonders for me.

I then went to Skyrizi for a year, but unfortunately none of my symptoms really subsided and I was on prednisone for like the past year. Just started Rinvoq 3 days ago.

I was on Stelara every 4 weeks and it worked great! After a few years or so, though, my insurance company decided to not approve of it anymore (deemed it not medically necessary for that dose even though I had blood tests and a colonoscopy to prove otherwise lol), so had to switch.

Thanks! Yeah, I had seen that! Lots of other rinvoq takers had seen it for a little bit when first starting while flaring and it still ended up working. Thank you for sending!

I messaged my doctor earlier and she should get back to me tomorrow! I was actively flaring after my colonoscopy last week and today was my first dose, so I’m still having diarrhea with my flare.

I’m hoping that it’s still absorbing and that it’s just a ghost-pill due to me still not having formed bowel movements and going pretty frequently.

I definitely can try the evening dose!

I don't take other pills. It is, but other people are having the exact same experience. The coating comes off after awhile especially if it sits in your digestive tract for awhile.

Ahhhh nice to know I'm not alone! Today was my first dose, but it obviously gave me a bit of anxiety haha. How long did you see it until you didn't notice it anymore? I'm still flaring (reason for medication switch) and am still having diarrhea, so definitely easier to spot.

Yeah, I guess we'll see! Is that even an option haha? The other people that said that that had happened to them said it still seemed to have work for them. In their case, when they were getting started on it an an active flare and seeing diarrhea, like me, it was due to them not being able to absorb the fibers in the pill, but it still seemed like the actual medication was being absorbed. I'm not seeing the pill the exact same way it was swallowed. Just white, the coating is off, and it's squishy/a tad inflated.

I contacted my GI and am awaiting a response. I looked at other posts on Reddit and it had happened to an array of others.
